i awoke from my nap this evening. my light had been on for an hour. it was just flickering. so.......i guess the ballast is bad? this is stupid.
Perhaps your socket or whatever your shit is plugged into has some wiring issues. My lights done this before thinking they died only to find out that the outlet my ballast was plugged into was shorting out or some wierd shit. I just plugged it into a different outlet and all was good.
However the circumstances coulf be different in your case
Yeah dude, Im all about buying locally instead of through the net....Probably more so for the fact that I dont like waiting for shitit's all new wiring. everything else is working fine. it worked for a week. this really is stupid. my poor babies. now it's the weekend and i can't call the guy until monday. it took 2 weeks to get this one. i'm going to have to buy one locally then ship all this back. at my cost i assume. this is stupid. buy locally.
it's gotta be the ballast. it's firing up the warm-up part then just sitting there. i tried both bulbs with the same results.
my babies were looking soooooo good.
i packaged it all back up. i'm sending it back. i'll go monday and buy one down the street. i have hung my floros back up until then.
how much are you missing that lovely summer sun there in cali? =pi packaged it all back up. i'm sending it back. i'll go monday and buy one down the street. i have hung my floros back up until then.

oh boo, poor fdd=pit's cold and muddy and i have to do yard work.
i tried unplugging it and waiting ten minutes then plugging it back in.........like 10 times. wouldn't work. that's when i gave up.Yep, 400 HPS from same supplier giving me problems as well. Luckily I have been here each time it 'misfired'--if that is the correct terminology? I have had to shut it down and wait a few minutes and power it back on. But, I guess I need to break down and send it back. damn-it, you know, eventually, that bullshit adage that if its too good to be true, well its going to stick eh?
Yeah, I need to hurry. I'll freak that happens to me.i tried unplugging it and waiting ten minutes then plugging it back in.........like 10 times. wouldn't work. that's when i gave up.
