Is that Cheese In the Wardrobe.....

After my last adventure in the wardrobe, I decided to return with 3 cheese cuttings. This grow is more to pass time & gain further experiance until some WHITE RUSSIAN seeds which are in the hands of another grower have been sexed & clones taken.

I was handed these 3 cheese cuttings which are now 14 days in veg. I have a 600w HPS which i use thru veg & flower. I have a simple 20l NFT system, the 3 cuttings sit in 6" rockwool cubes, Each cutting stands around 10".
There last feed was Mother Earth Grow & 20ml B52, EC is at 1.3 & PH @ 6. The PH has been fluctuating a lot, didnt notice this on my last grow as i wasnt using a digital PH meter. The EC did rise to 1.5 on wednesday & the plants showed early signs of nute burn, leaf tips curled which is still noticeable now. diluted solution to current EC.
Today is the end of veg i will be swithching to 12-12 tomoz. On switching the res will be changed & i have decided on ph water only for 24hr, then 1st bloom feed will consist of Sensi Bloom A & B, Mother Earth Bloom, Humic & fulvic acid & B52 up to an EC of 1.3

Today is the start of week 2 of flower. The res has been changed & a feed of Mother Earth Bloom, Sensi Bloom A & B, Big Bud & HUmic & Fulvic acid has added to EC 1.4
The light has been lowered to around 6" from plants. They are currently a nice green with only the new growth showing slight yellowing. Few pistils showng which is why i have decided to go with the big bud, maybe midweek i will add a little B52 but for now i will see how things go.

yeah stilll abt 4 now. abt two weeks into flower
last crop tasted beautiful, all gone now (screwing)
I use M E to try & give my plants some organic nutes, think it gave my last crop its smooth taste.
Still no carbon filter, i know i know, no smell yet so will purchase 1 in the week.

use rockwool cubes with this NFT system i have. Did for this grow & last.
M E is good, prob wouldnt say u cud use it on its own, not if u want the super pukka

week 3 day 3 of flower.....

At last i managed to get a carbon filter. Very much needed as these ladies are starting to really smell now, no more of that veggy smell, reall ganga smell now.
There last feed was set to an EC of 1.6 it consisted of...
Mother Earth Bloom
Sensi A & B
Big Bud
Carbo load
B52
Humic & Fulvic Acid.
Having watched the plants for a day i Noticed very early signs of nute burn so diluted the solution to EC 1.4, this was much more comfortable for the plants & they seemed to relax. After testing the EC yesterday it had increased to 1.6 again showing the plants were still drinking a lot of water. So i further diluted the solution back to 1.4 which seems to be there prefered EC (for now). Checked the res today & EC has again ncreased to 1.4 but i shall be leaving it for now as there are not any further signs of nute burn.
Each plant stands approx 2foot 8 inches, hopefully the majority of the strestch has passed as i do not have too much extra room to adjust the light. The cooltube is approx 4-5inches from the plants (trying to maximise lumens) there is only abt 6inches of room to adjust light.
Bud sites have formed well over all 3 plants & i am pleased with pistil development, hoping to see further improvements as i increase dosage of Big Bud. The frost has started to appear on some lower leaves nothing major in that department yet.

week 4 day 1 of flower...

The plants have grown a lot over the last week. The light has been raised to its max level, so any further hieght increase will result in the tops been tied down, i have no idea what they are reaching for. The pistil development is good & accelerating nicely. over the last couple days i have noticed the frosty look spreading over the leaves.
Today the res has been changed, & fresh bloom feed added. I feel it is time to push these plants a little harder than i have been. The EC was at 1.8 in 20l res after a feed of:
Mother Earh Bloom 20ml
Sensi Bloom A & B 20ml (each)
Big Bud 100ml
H2 & F1 15ml
B52 20ml
Carboload 20ml

I will be watching them very carfully over the next two days, looking carefully for signs of nute burn. Previously i have not increased the Big Bud dosage so high, but i have reduced the sensi bloom as this does increase the EC a lot.
I will not be trimming at all this week, not for any special reason just decided not to.
