It DOES need to change.but killing people isn't the answer.

Yes I eat cruelty free meat proceed meats.I also eat fre range chickens.No cramped abused animals and quick humane slaughter for consumption. It makes me sad some even for animals we rase for food but I understand there is some loss in the order of survival and I respect the life of those given for my survival.I do not respect the uneducated low iq animal abusers though. they are not humane or worth having in this world. I believe your action will and should be given an opposite and equal reaction. I do not have sympathy or pitty on the stupid or menatlly deranged group who can cause animal cruelity or rape or child molestation. Im not saying each public citizen should deal out the punishment all be it I will if left to me.I am saying we need to help push for legislation that would make crimes of animal abuse, sexual assault, rape, or molestation to be a 1 time only offense that will cost your life.People of this low level of intelligence dont learn not to do it.They will almost surely repaet but if they see people get the ultimate penalty I will guarantee within a year these rates fall more then ever before in history and we arent loosing anything but are gaining a new safer society with less low brow population as that the entire population will be more intelligent.Im not a lets talk about it and see if we can show them thier wrong ways kind of person. Im hard stance. If you know from day 1 your not to kill or rape then dont do it and if you cant understand why and have to do it your to stupid to be on my planet and I will just clean it up.As far as the worry about what god says thats irrelavent as we are the ones in charge of our world whether good or bad.There is no greater being except the life of all living creatures.Animals do have as much of a soul as humanes just because we cant prove it doesnt make it not so.To say so or tyo say there is a god who will take care of this is just crazy like saying "Well there is a spaghetti monster who eats only dirt" we all know there isnt that but if you go with a god governing body thought youd have to say yes there may very well be a spagehetti monster just because we havent seen it doesnt mean it doesnt exist but think how crazy that would make you...I have no love or sympathy for these kind of people and will continue to make sure they get more then a fine or small jail time.Id give them life but then we have to pay to feed and house garbage thats not worth the air it gets.

Absolutely!!!! It is the owners that create these types of dogs and the dogs were suffer because of it. Very sad.

Id defend an animal over a human as we as humanes are supposedly intelligent but in todays world I question about 80% of humanes as being able to not poke thier own eye out. My shepherds hate dumn people..The funniest one is when people label a breed like pit bulls or Presocanarios as a violent breed when the dogs arent born like that but are created and then they say weel why are so many attacks from these specific breeds..well if people trained poodles like most pit bull owners youd have poodles attacking. People create bad dogs not nature

Well I will try my best to not get off track, there is so much that you have talked about.

First off I don't condone animal or human abuse. That said, they are not on an equal level. A humans life is more important then any animals life.

You can not justify giving a person life for killing a dog (as you are talking about dogs)(animals). Example: A young boy sees his mother and father yelling at one another and the argument turns into throwing things. The mother and father get hit with objects and each start to bleed and now after this young boy sees this he is upset, confused and distraught. He doesen't know how to talk to his parents about how he feels, so now he takes this hurt and places it upon an animal and kills the unfortunate creature.

We aren't talking about children logan. We are talking about hardened criminals weho spend their lives torchuring animals and others. Those who seem like they are beyond help.

Letting them go doesn't do them, their families or anyone else for that matter, any good either.

I understand what you are saying and I would have replied sooner but the site was having issues.

But the thread has no rules on what is ok and what is not ok, so where do you start it and where do you finish it. And who does this?, you, me, FF, who? And what socity? The U.S, Can., Russia, India,Asia ect.
How do you make rules that will change ones life so indefinitely.

Question 1 why is a humane life more then an animal?? where is that written and why? Is a certain murder less bad then another murder? I don't agree with the death sentice for harming animal's. Please don't get me wrong, but their are a lot of people who haven't even recieved a death sentence for the things that they've done to some people. I love animals, but no there should not be a death sentence for harming them, but there should be a fine for doing such harm to different kinds of bundles of joy. If there was a fire and it was you and a dog trapped in the fire, who would want the fireman to save? You really can't screw that question up.

children who like to see the reaction of the pain they cause animals are far more likly to be violent when they grow up. we are not talking about children here but you are right jail would not be the answer. I think if a better system was implimented to work with parents and children that are violent in the future we would have less problems with this. I remember spending the night at a friends house when i was younger and my friend had a brother well her brother and friend had put the cat in the microwave. I got so pissed off i ended up shoving his head repeadedly into the micro and his sister even called the cops on me!!!!! I can see the potential for wanting to act violently toward cruel people to show them how it feels but something tells me they already know but that doesnt make it right. I cant even understand why anyone would want to do that to an animal unless they truly had something wrong with them.
Now this is from a person who feels completly ok with killing an animal in the wild to eat, i have my own chickens (when the racoon doesent eat them first) and i have no harsh feeling about eating them. I do feel bad eating chickens who never knew a life other than a very small cage stacked fifty high getting shit on by 49 other birds its entire life.

Most of us train our dogs not to bite people or fight each other for the most part anyway,apart from obviously people who put the dogs into pits,guard dogs etc.

Now all we need to do is train the humans around us that are such a mess that they gain pleasure from this to stop hating each other and other life forms.
Once we manage that they wont want to fight dogs or harm anything else.

A lot of these problems i think arise from the bible and the fact that it says that animals have no souls and some people then think that they can then do what they like to an animal as it is said to be a soulless creature and unimportant.

I do believe in Jesus but i don't believe that animals are soulless at all or many other things that are written in the bible either.

These people need to be trained and helped not killed.
I really think that they are blind to what they do because they have simply switched of because of some previous pain in their life.

I understand your emotions though and the feeling to kill someone for being so damn cruel to a defenseless being but to suggest we should kill one lower life form for killing or abusing another makes us just as bad

I love animals too and live in deer country, and walked a couple houses down and a guy had two deer hanging up-side down ready to skin them,it looked to me that he couldnt be happier. It was sad looking into the deers eyes . just to be cut up and stashed in a freezer. vick should lose his job indef that would hurt him the most. my 2 cents

yeah no ones ever gonna get the death penalty for killing a dog, just wont ever happen. but i do believe people should be given harsher sentences. like vick shoulda got like 10 years i think. his what, 8 months, or 13 months he has to do? that aint shit. specially where he's goin, he's gonna be in a lil dorm room with no carpet, he'll beable to have tv, and ipod, maybe even a laptop but not sure bout that one. but i know for a fact he'll beable to have tv and ipod, and even a xbox or whatever if he wants.

Let's see. Death penalty for animal abuse. Okay. Your neighbor thinks that drug users should be put to death. What do you think about that? I think that murder is always wrong. Whether it be at the hands of a junkie trying to line up his next fix, or the state in retribution for the junkie's crime.

Violence begets violence. Murder is an easy out, but never the answer to the problem.
