I flowered them for twelve weeks plus. Here are two pics. On the left is strawberry haze and the right the arjan's...in both pics.
The pic with all the plants...left front, strawberry haze, middle front, arjan's haze #1, right front, malawi 99, rear middle, sour cream with its top missing and the real green plant in the right rear is an arjan's clone.
The clone I grew in a one gallon grow bag and got over two ounces dry.
You have to take into consideration that it takes longer for a sativa to develop so it takes longer for it to start giving off a strong smell. Around week eight if you gently touch the buds then rub your fingers together and then smell your fingers, you should be able to get a good idea of what it is going to smell like. Even being in a jar for over six weeks as soon as the jar was opened you could smell the bud.
Edit...I would also recommend you use Gravity by Humboldt. It's a bud hardner. Sativas are known for airy buds and the gravity will help them to be a bit tighter. If you let it go to maturity it will surprise you how much weight you get from her.
