simple. There is obviously no humidity dome to the Aerogarden. But I'm not dumb...I know humidity helps roots grow...so does anyone know anything to buy that fits an Aerogarden to help with humidity? Like a tupperware container, cake box, anything really that fits and can let plants that range anywhere from 1 to 4 inches fit underneath. Its the Aerogarden 6 Classic to b exact. so the...whatever it is...has got to fit on top of the garden without the edges hanging over...hmmm im stumped. any suggestions will help. u may say...ooo no the aerogardens dont need a humidity dome....well...i feel i need one. so any help would b great!

humidity domes are only good for clones, you can use anything that will function as one, tupperware upside down aquariums watever.

Humidity makes roots?

I thought that nutrients did that...
no when you take cutting they don't have roots, therefore they have to absorb water through they're leaves. keeping them in a humidity dome and frequently misting them helps this along and accelerates root growth. but it would be useless for this guy as im sure he already has roots and the plant would be more reliant on things like fresh air, un-diminished light and co2 actually being around his plant. but he feels he needs it just like he felt he needed a aerogarden in the first place, never got all these aerogarden grows. soil, bigger plants, and more than two little cfl's always seemed like the more logical and simpler course..

Ah, talking clones here, yes.

I know how to clone, thanks.

Thought we were talking about a half dead plant getting a "humidity feeding schedule" ....:)

did you just remark on how soil is more logical? this is a hydroponics thread. and what makes you think you know my conditions that persuade me to grow a certain way? anywayssss...i know how marijuana grows. you dont have to give me a lesson. I choose to buy something to function as a humidity dome. I appreciate your tupperware suggestion, but I was actually looking for someone who knew of something super specific that they had used for theirs. anybody?

I know the domes your talking about. You can get the ones that fit the AG perfectly in the AG seed kits. I bought one kit with 7 seed packs. I just reuse everything. Except for those sponges that come in them. Those suck. Use Rapid Rooter.

I had the same problem man. I used a clear plastic bowl. A big on. If it hangs over its ok. U will see the moisture building up.
