Hi,

I'am wanting todo my first autoflowering indoor grow. Any advice and input is much appreciated.

Grow space is 2.5ft and 2ft floor area and height is limited to 1.5ft (very tight i know but it will just about allow me to have a 12inch plant in their taking into account the pots and lights.

I am looking todo this grow under CFL's as they will the best choice considering space and heat. How many watts of CFL's would be enough for 3 autoflowers growing in this space in your opinion?

I will be growing in soil; biobuzz allmix or plagron batmix. Air supply will be done through using aprx 5 inch computer fans. One drawing air in and one drawing airout via a small homemade carbon filter.

Any thoughts and suggestions appreciated.

Many thanks.

General guidelines are 25 watts per square foot MINIMUM. You could meet this by having 100 W total, but I would look to double or triple that so you can maximize yield. For the height concerns, autoflowers are a good way to go, but you can still grow regular plants and keep them short by throwing the clones into flower right after they have developed a good root system.

Thanks, i'm just doing auto's in that grow space on 24hr light. Il probably go with 3*125watts totalling 375, with diamond reflective sheeting for good reflectivity.

Sounds like a good idea- I started with some auto ak47s because I wanted something small that I could learn with, and I didn't have the money at the time to run two different lights for veg and flower. Good call on the diamond reflective sheeting, and good luck with the grow!

Im pretty much doing the same auto in a pc case.....whenever the seeds get here....nirvana......
I've heard some rumours that nirvanas autoflowers havent been autoflowering... Fact or not I can't confirm but maybe thats why there pulling it off the shelfs. Probably due to some mistake/errors in the breeding of the seeds.
