hahah, dude have you seen any of my grows? LOL that is too funny... I got 6 ounces out of 4 plants on a 12/12 from seed grow my first time.

wowo. good for you im sure u wasted six months on that one too. anyone in the "know " knows that is a terrible harvest of wispy harsh buds.
i just think its funny that u would waste yer time , and for yer info , it come down to lumens per watt. I f u dont care about quality or quantity then by all means keep using CFL. believe me if i thought LED worked i would be the first one to shout it out to the sky. but u see i avg .72-1.05(lucky run)lumens per wat. so you do the math. those plants look like shit. anyplant under an OZ is waste of energy. sorry IMO. i dont use CFL because they do not produce big dense buds . if u are in it for fun then go for it. but don act like u re-invented the wheel because u got less then an ounce a plant with CFL.
IF U GOT 2OZ a plant then toot yer horn . cheers and happy growing.

Smells sweet, is colored purple, pink, and blue, I see no problem with growing with cfls!

last picture is my favorite, don't come on here knockin on cfls just cause you had a grow that didn't go as you thought man thats just rude :(

Growing in a 5 gal bucket in ocean forest soil, been giving her molasses every watering, she smells beautiful and has some very sticky premature colas who have yet to swell :D

She has 4 42 watt cfls and 2 27 watt 5500k and she is doing lovely. You gotta put love into what you do, otherwise you just get commercially grown bud that just gets you high, it doesn't have that personal touch that growing your own few plants. Im not saying you grow commercially and im not knockin the commercial growers, just what I have observed.

Please do not come to the CFL forum and post ill informed statements. The mistaken belief that HPS is the be all and end all of growlighting can be propogated elsewhere, but here we base our statements on proven results, evidence and research.

It is perfectly possible to grow large, dense, dank buds under CFL lighting, there are a mass of examples here. To state otherwise is just plain ignorant.

Just to be clear, the next plant to come out of my entirely CFL cab is going to be more than 2oz, every plant I have grown with one exception (where I ran a whole grow on just 125w) has been a minimum of 1 1/2 oz. I grow using the same source clones as a friend who grows under HPS and we have near identical results, demonstrating that environment, genetics and feed are the key factors, NOT the technology that produces light.

100_1476.jpghere is my plant. its ak-48. ive LST'd it from the beginning. its just under 30 days. for veg its under 4 23w 6500k & 1 23w 2700k. its in a 5 gallon pot so the plant looks smaller than what it is.

I like it, same thing on my Skunk #1

She's pretty nice now, here are a few choice pictures of her. Topped+LST and about 35 days into flower now.

The wide shot is a lot older, but you get the idea.

I think your grow looks awesome. I am planning on using 4 cfls also. Im still in the building stages of my cab, its in my sig check it out.

Picture 038.jpgPicture 018.jpgPicture 024.jpgPicture 016.jpgi use 2 300w cfl's per plant, veg and flowering never change, i only feed nutes for 3-4 weeks during flowering, i feed mollasses all through my plants life, what a difference in bud size with mollases..my set up is cheap, i started with 10 mid grade bag seeds last year, 2 femlaes, cloned the first harvest i now have 6 girls and one mother,i just cut one plant down, dried a week, 3.5 ounces dry, i probaly have the simpilest low service setup you can have..one fan...love all your gorws,,keep up the great cfl grows.. yeah thats a size 12" love those cfl's

god if i would have listened to guys like jefferson when i started i would have gave up..why do guys invade forums, lmao 2 ounces toot my horn..hey jefferson you ignoramous..my first grow i got 2 ounces a plant,, this grow i m gonna get 3++ easy..those plants in my pic may not be your super skunk flamming hector haze,lol but they grow BIG, I get great sticky smelly, DENSE DENSE BUDS!! i must be like these guys, making miracles..stick to what you do man and let us enjoy our hard work..my plants are only 7 weeks into flowering on a 10 week chart.. what a tool bag..
