The other thread was a review on the website i purchased the spores from (spore depot) and it turns out they are great because i got them 4 days later.
this however is my PF Tek Cambo first grow journal, and if they get contaminated which i tried extra hard not to. I still have one more syringe with 12 ccs in it. If they do get contaminated i'll show pics on where i went wrong so our fellow RIU members dont go through the same pains.

just innoculated. realized i had cambo and AA+
12 jars in total 1/2 pints was really careful about being sterile even created a sterilized environment by using the following.
I went to the "dollar tree" out here and they have those painting plastic sheets that are about 12 by 8 (ft) covered my whole work environment with it till I was done plus sprayed down with a Big can of lysol. plus useddisposable latex gloves and facemasks. "mouth is the dirtiest place on your body" no pun intended
they are all in a very clean dark dry cool environment now.

If you refuse to use a PC because $50 is too much money at Walmart for a 6 jar one, that's cool. Let the jars sit for 3-4 days BEFORE you innoculate them with spores. That way if there's going to be a little green, you'll know before wasting the spores in there.
Good luck, but shit man, you'll be bored the next few weeks, they just sit there.

Oh, to answer your actual question about how long the waiting time is before my PC criticism.... 
Let the jars sit 24 hours before you inject them. While the jar itself may be 78(f) on the outside, it could still be very, very warm on the inside. Spores dont live past a certain temperature, and it isnt that hot either........... Since they spend their next few weeks or a month in a jar, let em have a nice room temp jar to start in rather than chancing it. I still say let them sit 3-4 days before you inject anyway.

I'm no shroom expert, few of us here are, you'll know em when you hear them with the fancy terms they use. <G> But seriously, the jars should be looking "just brown and boring" for a week or so then you should see white spots. Post pics if you have any questions, the experts pop out when pictures show up too

I like shroomtalk the best, but to be frank, every time I ask a question here on RIU I get a straight forward answer rather than "ZOMG USE THE S3ARCH B0X N000BSTICKZ LOLLLLL" from the other forums........... <G> RIU seems to be real friendly to all getting started and eager to help, thank god!

they're all almost fully colonized and i only have contam in 3 jars they've been put aside and it seems they are fighting back now =]
