Islam, quite a question nowdays. A few years back hardly anyone noticed muslims, at least in my part of the world. I submit that most of the hatred and Anger towards the "good old USA" portrayed by mobs in muslim lands, may be due to US intervention in foriegn lands. Intervention because of runaway Capitalism, US corporations pillaging and raping muslim cultures for profit while paying slave wages and leaving the couintryside a seething dump of toxic waste. Now I challenge this forum to prove me wrong. BTW, not only muslim lands but many more countries like in South and Central America. American Capitalism has fucked over more cultures around the world than any other country or political entity. The cure, of course, would be catastrophic for the USA and it's financial interests. As long as there are greedy assholes, Capitalism will be the political movement of choice. I could go on a rampage with example after example, but I leave that to the conscience of those in rebutal. Actually, here is one example, Texaco: Texaco found and drilled the wells in question, and left the area toxic and fucked.

cancer, abortion, dermatitis, fungal infection, headaches, and
nausea. Their drinking, bathing, and fishing water contain
toxins much higher than the safety limits set by the U.S.
Environmental Protection Agency. Unlined waste pits provide a
major source of pollution. They contain a toxic mixture created
by the oil production and separation process. Today,
environmental regulations require these toxic by-products to be
injected deep underground. However, the Ecuadorean Union of
Popular Health Promoters has found that Petroecuador does not
follow these guidelines and continues to release the toxic wastes
directly into the environment.
