Very awesome. I'm in for the long haul on this one! That book also inspired me though I decided to go a different route with cabs.

Still no joy when it comes to showing sex. I've seen a few spots since yesterday that look like they may be pistils but they are too small to tell for sure.

OH my those ladies are doing great!!!!! You are really making those cfl's look good keep up the great work you would do wonders with HID lighting. My cfl grows never approached anything close to that.

YOu can see that they are on the verge of exploding into flowering - loads of pent-up energy.

Looking good.

I have started documenting my first growing under CFL's.

I will post more pics tonight. Still no pistils this morning but no nanners either so I can't be unhappy.

@G.O.D.
I am subbed on your journal, seedlings are looking good so far, keep it up.

These girls (hopefully, Fem seeds) are still growing. From what I have read I have another week or so until they stop stretching out.

Still waiting on pistils..... :joint:

Well you can't see them for crap in the pics but both of the girls are showing sex now. It's been a few days and they are still increasing in size and thickness.

You will see that some of my tips are crispy. I think this was from a combination of setting the PH too high on the last watering and the temps dropping in my grow room. When the lights came on this evening the temp got down to 65F. I have lowered the speed of my fan and blocked the AC I had coming in during the hotter weather. Temps are currently in the low 70's.

Has anyone used one of those 400W HPS lights from the best deals thread? If I can get me a 400W HPS for flowering for 100 bucks I think the decision would be well worth it.

Let me know what you think folks :joint:
