Question about my supplies. HELP PLZ!

Hey i just went out today and bought 4 2700k CFL for flowering and 4 6500K CPL for Veg. i also bought a power cord adapter for them and 2 of those double things where you can screw it into a normal light socket and you can have 2 lights coming off it instead of one. i bought 2 power strips just incase something happens to one. and i also bought 2 stationary fans that are about 9'' big.
i am planning on only growing 1 plant at a time in a 4' high by 2' wide box. so far do my materials seem adequate for a 1 plant grow?

and for soil i bought Sta-green moisture mix potting soil with fertalizer. i havent tested the pH but on the back i read it has things in it to control pH levels among other things.

i also bought Super bloom flower food ( may not use it, when i bought it i was thinking 'what the heck, ill ask RIU what they think)

if you have any comments at all it would be great.

i have other soil thats organic. i just wanted to buy new soil maybe ill have 2 plants to test. one of the organic soil and the other of the soil i just bought today.

dont use that soil since it has fert in it it will burn your plants u cant control the amount plants are getting
what are u growing them in a box or grow room or just out in the open in a room
what is npk of super bloom if u dont know what npk is it is three sets of numbers on box like 15-30-15
check that

as for the lights use 2 of the 2750 and 4 of the 6500 for veg and then when flowering take 2 of the 6500 out and add the 2 2750
or just run all 8 bulbs through whole grow
and when u go to flower u need a timer
but for now just run them 24 hours a dayand while u are at it check if soil has npk numbers on bag

Test the PH or your soil before using it. I go for a nute free scotts top soil that has a ph of 6.8-7.0 and just a mix with perlite.
70% soil and 30% perlite. Keep it simple and it works great with the right nutes.

This is enough lighting and the light holders that hold the 2 bulbs are called "Y SPLITTERS"

the npk on the super bloom is 12 - 55 - 6

and it also says 0.10% chelated iron.. uhh idk what that is. haha

as of right now i have no pH test kit. i have one for my pool out back its the little strips but i doubt that will do me any good to test the soil

If you have a probe or a soil test kit you can go in to a garden centre and if you have a probe just stab the bag of soil with it without buying it and test a few others (to compare). If you have the strips or a soil test kit just take some different samples home from some different bags untill you find what you need PH wise.
Probes and soil test kits can be bought at wallmart very cheaply and are readily available at many garden stores.
As for vegging nutes i use Miracle grow powder found at any garden store very cheaply. No nutes for the first 3 weeks and then start at 1/4 dose each watering and up it week by week with every watering but dont go more than 3/4 strength with miracle grow as its very high in NPK values and its very commonly used for vegging cannabis plants as it works excellent for vegging canna plants. I have been using it for many years with great sucsess.

i think plants need a rest and i for one dont recommend 24/7 lighting 20/4 is just fine. the plants need rest. they need it dark to expel some toxins in them and all those things. so i say 20/4

20/4 works great also just didnt know if he had funds and wanted to wait till flower

Your plants will grow much faster/shorter and bushier on 24/0. Try that for 2 weeks then switch to 18/6 to get some height/stretch on them (plants stretch when you go 18/6 due to SAPR) and veg until you want them tall enough to switch to 12/12. When you have done vegging and go 12/12 the plant should be around 3 times taller than when you stopped the veg and switched to 12/12.

so i should base my end height off of how tall it is when i stop vegging and times that by roughly 3? so lets say if i stop vegging at 6 inches. my end height will be around 18 inches? (not actual height wanted but just a example) and thats great info to know. thanks alot SS
