As the plant matures the new calyx (flower) will form making new pistals (hairs). As each calyx ripen the pistals in those individual calyx will shrivel and receed back. You're going to see a bunch of new calyx form with new pistals that shrivel, that's what makes up the bud. When it comes time to harvest you're going to be looking for a number of things at once, not just the trich color like everyone says, there's more to it.
Here's the order the plant matures so you know what to expect-
1. calyx and pistals form
2. pistal hairs turn color and shrivel back to calyx wihich will have started swelling
3. calyx swell with resin
4. **Now is when to look for trich color**
The trichomes can start changing color from the time they develope so you can't rely on just that to judge harvest time.

You may have switched lights on August 18th, but they don't look like they have been flowering for 5 weeks.

i have no idea how it could be pollinated there are no males and hasnt been around any ever, and what happens if it is a hermie with this affect the bud??

Thats the shit about bagseed bro,they are often hermie.after 5-6 weeks normaly you will see some male pods sticking out of the bud itself..Looks like small bananas. Its a bitch,but you can pinch them off..

Don't sweat it they can survive through a couple frosts. When your daytime temps start dropping below 65 on a weekly basis it time to think about givin it the chop & i dont mean yur fucking foreskin (sorry had to drop that quote)
