Got RMH Beans!!! Purple Rain and Isis multy strain grow.

I broke out the humidity dome on Tuesday afternoon and planted 2 more Isis and 2 more Purple Rain. Whoo Hooo!. Needed to get them going if I want to keep these in the 3-4 week cycle.

your cab looks like the mountains in fall, full of vibrant colors!!! sucks about all the seeds, but maybe you should consider some BHO or hash, maybe some cannabutter. you know, for the days when your tired of piking :) seeds out!!

Have you ever thought about doing scrog? You would definitely get more than 1oz/plant.

This guy put a screen in a cabinet and got a little more than 11oz. off of 1 plant and all he used was a waterfarm and floranova bloom.

Definately on the list of things to try. I want to wait till I get a little better understanding of this plant. I know I can do better than an OZ per! Thats why I am trying some super cropping. I will check out the link when I get a chance.

Thanks GB, glad to see your's are running again. I will probably look into those things when I get a stash built up. Right now its all going in my Byrd as I like to call it.

Keep an eye on that one, it could be a 'rare' pheno. They have all been very uniform with the only difference being the color about 60-40 to the purple side. Could be a killer, could be crap. Let's find out.

From those shots, I'm voting 'crap' for now, lol. Is there any difference in smell? How about leaf size, shape and fingers? I can see it's a paler color of green. Maybe it's an N hog and a bit under fed? Just some guesses to the difference.

if we are looking at the last pic, its def more sativa pheno, wouldnt you agree? what strain traits does this normally show?

Ya I noticed That too. I went ahead and fed her 3ml of the C/E micro(6-0-0) since she just got a dose of the Bio Bizz. She is working her ass off and drinking plenty( 2 days) of water so she will get a good plain H2O rain this next time. Maybe she will green up.

I think I am with ya their. Been looking at em and she seems to be more Sativa frome some of the leaves? IDK? A little more slender and longer too.

I will try and get up some pics of the leaves side by side.

so how do you like those jiffy pellets? do you start the seeds right there? i am going to try a seed straight from a jiffy pellet next. leave it a day on the fridge for warmth, then move it to the case to sprout, and keep it covered for humidity the whole time. does that sound good bigman?

This is only my second time around with em. I had seen that Cowboy started with em so I thought why not give em a try. The first time I only used R/O water to soak em and they were a little slow out the gate but this time I used 1ml/gal of the B/B grow. The pellets really have no nutrients to speak of, just whats in the water you use.


I really like em because of the compactness of the setup. I can germ 2 to probably around 10 seeds if I wanted and that works out great. I love being able to control the temp/humidity and I am getting sproutage in around 2 1/2 days compared to 5-7 days in just a cup of dirt. Only into this set-up for around 6 dollars. Can't beat that price?

Sounds like a plan for you to try except I would leave it on the frige till it sprouted and I even leave it another day till they go under the direct light to give the roots a little time to stretch. I am of the idea that less is more so I want to touch the seed the least amount as possible.
