Dipped Cigars

Aside from weed, every now and again I head down to my local cigar shop and purchase a quality smoke. I*ve seen cigars that have been dipped in cognac or rum. I*ve been meaning the store owner if she know anything about that or how it was done. My question is is there a similiar technique with marijuana to add a different taste to the finished product.

resin is alcohol-soluble. do a search for "tinctures" and see what's up. the easiest way to add the desired flavor to your smoke is flavored papers.....or grow better weed.

i have proffesional experience as a retailer selling national brand cigars. the method used by the high quality flavored cigar companies ( Drew Estate aka Acid and Natural lines, Gurkha Grand Reserve Cognac which btw actually uses real louis the 13th) actually use a method called "infusion" in which the tabacco leaves (pre-rolling) are laid and completely dried out, then put into another "aroma room" in which the flavor/aroma/liqour in a diluted form is misted over and infused into the tabacco leaf it self. the result is a highly aromatic and flavorful cigar while still being a high quality "long filler" or long leaf tabacco unlike the gas station White Owls and Phillies which are "short filler" which is chopped up tobacco inside...shitty for quality.

btw i've heard of someone spraying liqour or kool aid on the pland leaves/buds close to harvest time to give it that paricular taste, although i never have seen it or done it myself i've only heard. i also heard you can spray liquor or kool aid on the bud post harvest and put into the freezer for a few days then taken out to thaw and dry a little and then supposedly had the same flavor, again never done by or in front of me. sorry i couldn;t be more help./

I put Nyequil on one of my joints one time. My buddy just had to try it and we got real fucked up, plus it tasted like cherry. hahahahahaha. But we assed out cold later on. But dude, fill up a hooka with yeager. You will like it.

Taste only, its rough though. But before you start caughing it feels soooo smooth. And if you hit one without caughing then all that means is you didnt hit it hard enough!!! haha. I love it!!

Check out Tasty Puff for your customers ,i saw this in High Times. I just got back from vacation in Cabo San Lucas and picked up some Cohibas, Romeo Y Julieta, Montecristo, Hoyo De Monterrey, Cuban cigars. It is going to suck when i run out because i can not grow my own Cubans lol.

yeah i am somewhat of a cigar buff myself and i have on occasion dipped the cigar in port befor i smoked it...this is very frowned upon by most cigar enthisiusts and i would never do it at my local store or bar but when im at home and i have a nice rocky patel edge or a drew estate cheapy cigar i will do that to add a little sweetness to a spicy cigar. also as far as bud goes if you roll a blunt with a saint luis ray churchill cigar wrapper and dipp it in cough syrup..(not nyquill the kind that the doctor prescribes to patients that tastes really fucking good) and let it sit in a cigar humidor at 70 degrees humidity for like a month. it will taste really really good almost like smoking a piece of candy and it will get you fucked up a little bit more because of the cough syrup. and burn alot slower too ... its a GREAT experience and i highly recomend it.

^^ never knew that onyl a saint luis rey? i am guessing any high quality light bodied cigar should be good, i'm sorry any time i roll a blunt w/ a medium to full bodies cigar wrapper i cough uncontrolably...

no it can be done with any cigar really, i choose saint luis ray because thats one of my favorite cigars... alot of people here prefer to use phillie blunts.. not my personal favorite im a traditional flavor type of guy but anything works..

grape philly blunts are not bad for rolling blunts.

no phillies and white owls roll great, but i personally prefer the taste of a good montecristo white or macanudo gold label... that cheap pineapple or peach taste leaves a gross taste in my mouth, though the weed helps it taste alot better :)

lol the reason i like to age my blunts for a month is because they form plume on them and they taste excellent. i have a big 120 count humidor and everything ranging from opus x and ashton all the way down too those drew estate celebration cigars i love montecristo too one of my all time favorites. my favorite cigar right now is the rocky patel edge.. those maduro wrappers make for excellent blunts as well. all of my friends i smoke blunts with hate me for it though cause it makes em hack up half a lung but i dont give a fuck i love the spicy taste p.s i age my weed in a different humidor than all my cigars lol...

I brought back some Cuban Montecristo's that are awesome but i would not use them to roll blunts .

Yea I personally like the drew estates. Ever tried a juicy lucy? Light brown and stubby but its very pleasurable to me. And I knew about them being infused, I just assumed there was a "dipped" method as well. But to me any cigar from my local shop taste better then a gas station smoke any day. Phillies and white owls rip my throat apart, however, I do enjoy dutch masters even though they to can get rough after awhile.
