thanks dj. I see they dont have fems, so what was your ratio of fems to males? Germination rate? I was considering a closet grow. I have a 400W HPS with a Hortilux bulb, but that thing pumps some heat...thinking it might be better to line my closet with flouros

the site says they dont have fem seeds...but thats what they sent me...i paid for reg seeds...but thats not what i got.so all fems so far...but ive stopped growing autos for a bit to work on bigger yield strains.and they seem to germ fast and never had any troubles...just watch out for overwatering at first.and as for the 400w hps...if you have good air circulation...and can get all the hot air out of the box..you should be ok...hard to tell...everyones setup is different.the lights i have now in my old grow box would go up to 110-115f...but in the new box the hottest ive seen is 86-87f....it all depends on your grow setup.if you check back in the thread...i made some inline fans/vents...they costed me almost nothing to make...$4 for the fans $5 for the vents...for under $20 i made a vent system that has a lot of power and keeps things nice and cool...you would be able to run that into a enclosed hood for a hps...would work the same as a $200 inline fan and exhaust system.

diesels do put out a strong odor during flowering...and when you go to start to dry it the smell gets stronger each day...i wasnt much worried about the smell...i used ona blocks which covered it up almost completely...i dont like the carbon filter on fans...unless its a blower type.they restrict air flow too much...so your covering up the smells...but trapping heat in.now if you get high powered inlines then your ok....but i wouldnt use a carbon filter on a low powered fan or inline...but thats just my opinion

since im tired of talking about my next grow....i just put the roadrunner into darkness where im going to leave it for 36 hours then chop chop...im hoping it helps a little bit more then it did when i put the diesel in dark for 24 hours before i chopped her...and it did help...she smelled more and had a ton more trichs..so the darkness period before harvest seems to work well for autos....but which ever comes first...36 hours...or the soil dries out...she is getting chopped and properly dried and cured this time....unlike the diesel which got smoked when it was dry enough to get it to light.i still have the 3 new ones that are almost 4 weeks old in the box...im changing my timer to 12/12 to sex them asap..if i get a fem out of it i might keep her..if not chop chop for the new babies....ive also figured out what my next seed order is...brainstorm...and vanilla kush...both look fucking yummy...but for now ill keep this thread going till i know whats up with the 3 i have going now...then ill start a whole new thread for the papaya and bubblicious....woo hoo....lets all get stoneddddddddddddddddd

I agree I've grown the older diesels (sour and NYC) and they have a very unique odor that really permeates an area if your not carefull especially 3/4th's of the way through flower... the three weeks of stink I used to call em...

to be honest...the diesel wasnt that strong during flower up till about the last week...the roadrunner is...oh my fucking god..is i guess how to put it...this lil bitch stinks up th whole house...smells like a lemon skunk...much stronger then the diesel was at any time...i might just grow another roadrunner soon...maybe ill put it alone in the old box by itself...which is still all setup and ready to use...my new box was all new stuff...so i could either do 2 grows...or maybe have 1 for flower 1 for veg....i dunno..im just stoned and rambling on

and also...i think i grew the worlds first purple roadrunner...i did some looking around and i cant find any roadrunner automatic with purp traits to it....but this fucker has got a ton of purp to it....yet again showing how unstable the autos still are....but this instability is fucking awesome

the roadrunner has been chopped....wasnt as dry as i wanted...but i wanted it to go ahead and start drying so i can get it cured...before i smoke it all wet.def got more out of this plant then i did the diesel...ill get some pics up before and after it dries...no idea on weight...left my scale in NC...gotta order one of those too...and the 3 other plants have started their 12/12 cycle...hope to sex hem in a few days and chop any males...and keep the best female.

i wish now i had a male from a good strain....i would have knocked up the roadrunner...think i might get a few more of these beans...i want to play with its genetics a bit.ive had it drying for 2 days now...i made a dry box for it...has a fan at the top with the bud hanging at the bottom...dried it at just the right speed...put it in the jar last night and its RH went over 70%..so still to wet...i just put it back in the jar...im hoping its around a 65-60 RH today...and this shit isnt even started the cure process yet....and it stinks the lemony skunk smell even more....i snipped a tiny lil bud off it also...gonna try it out soon...dry enough to smoke now...but wont have "dro" taste yet....this is the last im smoking of it till its completely cured.....and yeah...the diesel didnt start to really stink till it was cured...granted i smoked almost all of it before it really cured...the last few nugs i kept in a pill bottle...after about 5 days it started stinking up the whole room..and was only a pill bottles worth..but as a plant....not much smell to it at all...which is weird since it was labeled as putting off a strong odor during flower

for shit and giggles...this is my other side project...i started a lil seedling in a shot glass size container....i wanna see how big i can get it before it kills over.this is just a random bagseed...so not losing much...ive still got a TON of random seeds.and i put it under a 13 watt 2700k bulb...wanted to get a lil stretch out of it before i put it in the box.

i made a thread for this also...but since noone is reading it..i thought id ask in here also.................ive been all over the net..i cant find a decent digital ph tester at or around $20...a ph tester isnt advanced technology and i cant see paying the high prices im seeing for these things...i can find them cheap on ebay...but they are all hong kong listings..which ive ordered from before and waited 40 days to get my stuff.im not waiting that long to start my next grow..and i want everything perfect this time.ive got the liquid solution testers now...but after adding in my nutes it changes the water color making it hard to get a real reading off of it.so if anyone knows where i can get a cheap tester..and fast...please drop a link.. +rep for anyone that hooks me up

Get the one I have, milwaukee 600. 20 bucks shipped on ebay and ships fast! THey only give you a little pack of 7.01 calibrating solution with it but mine has been callibrated for months and I havent had any problems with it. Oh and I dropped it on the tile the first day I had it and it survived lol..

The tip is starting to get a little dirty though so make sure you keep it clean!

No prob, glad i could help! There's a couple people that use that one on here and it works great for me!

Oh yea and make sure you don't let the tip dry. You can also buy "storage solution" But I just use a couple drops of tap water to keep in the cap.

nice bro...im hoping to get some clones off of the ones im starting...im also getting some vanilla kush and brainstorm seeds...ive heard that brainstorm is a killer plant to get clones from...im putting more cash into this then i thought i would...was gonna keep it small and simple...but this shit is addictive..my first grow cost a ton...but i had a backer..i was just a grower and builder...i miss my old nft setup
