thanks alot man, appreciate the feedback. Its amazing how rude people can be on here, funny. I had my question answered, just wanted to know if its ok that i have been 5 minutes late or early with the lights being turned on/ off, but never more than that. I just wanted to make sure it wont affect the plants, and make them hermie or anything. I just bought timers yesterday so im dialed in, thank again man, REPS to you for always looking out brotha.. happy growing

I was also curious to know if a couple minutes here and there would hurt,i assumed it wouldn't since everything looks fine.

I bought one of those Brinks® push pin mechanical timers about a year ago from WM,it works but it's doesn't wanna go off and back on right at 12/12 like it use to,or i never payed attention. Latley i've been looking for a digital timer and found one for only $19.95 and $4.95 shipping. It's the SunDial2 Dual Digital Timer also under the name, Eco Plus Dual Digital Plug-In Timer, if someone else is looking for a timer, check it out at AquaCave dot com.

I'm guessing it's okay to turn the lights off a few hours *early* every once in a while? My understanding is keeping the amount of light below 12 hours a day is what's really important. I was thinking of going without a timer at first, until I can afford something of decent quality. The cheap $15 timers can fail and be a fire hazard easily apparently. I figure on evenings when I'm going out and am unlikely to be home by the shutoff time, I'll just shut it off early. (before I leave)
