Molasses and similar sugars can attract bugs. If a single ant scout finds a molasses soaked bucket of soil and makes it back home, all the rest will follow. Some people have their grows isolated from ant invasions well enough that it isn't a problem, or hasn't become one yet. I would at least say to never use it on mother plants or plants with long flowering times.

yes one is great i feel 2 is too much mine didnt like it and another good tip OP is to mix 1spoon in a cup of warm water to dissolve it because it is so thick then add to a almost full gallon

tone that down a bit Kazoo, one teaspoon will do just fine...and its upwards toward 30% in hydro and aero

I grow in soil and do use it and have for a number of years. Having said that I don't want to make claims how much it helps in different grows or how much more your buds will put on. I will say that in organic soil it is a blessing to me, I believe and most research studies show at least some benefit to the plant and more benefit to the soil. Many organic growers believe in feeding the plant mainly through having healthy soil and I believe that molasses helps me achieve this.
Here is a link for a study done it is a good starting point for finding out for yourself what to expect and what it does.

im pretty sure it takes at least 3 weeks for the molasses to break down ,
i use it in veg and for the 1st couple weeks of flowering ,
if you use it late in flowering or right up to the end could be a bad thing
