We ran an article on this in our first issue of RootsMagazine, 2 months ago (Until we were sued & now are in a legal battle) & came to find that California weed is one of the cheapest to buy (State wise). Being a resident of California, a dealer, I would agree. Now, I'm not saying the quality of the weed is cheap, I'm talking general price.
In my area, which is large, we border the Bay Area, Modesto, Stockton, Sacramento, straight grapes will go for $25.00 an 8th, $45.00 a quarter, under $200 an O.
Unemployment has risen to top 10 in the past 2 years, gasoline has risen in the top 10 in the past 2 years, & general products have risen in the top 10 in the past 2 years (milk, clothes, toys, etc) top 10, meaning in the entire country, & now marijuana.
Anyone else feeling the hurt as much as us? I have given up on growing as it is not beneficial enough at the current time.
PS: I been growing/selling in California for 8 years, I know my prices, I know my strains, so if your thinking of replying with "Those prices are wrong, you need to check the quality of the weed again..." save it. You probably don't live in Cali, you probably don't live in Stanislaus, so you probably don't know. I benefit nothing by lying.
