Curing!! When Will It Start To Stink?

yea me to man i just started curing my skunk and i don't know. does your DR have a hay grassy smell to it too?

i myself find it takes about a week of curing to get it to start smelling like you want it to. the longer you let it cure the better it will smell. my problem is that i can never wait that long. i mean we already had to wait 14-16 weeks to grow it and oh so hard to wait that extra time....

If its a super dank strain it will smell kill all the time but about the best you can do if you leached all the nutrients out is 60% humidity at around 60ish degrees in the dark with fans circulating the air but not blowing right on it. Dont bag it up until the stems snap when you bend them then I prefer jars but bags will work too you should bag bur open a few times a day to let it off gas and you will notice a huge taste difference sweet and dank... i know self control is bitch. it is like getting a script of perks, 1 every 4 hours is bullshit and we knw dam well we cant wait that long. so i do my best to grow as much as i possibly can so i can smoke some right away and and let some cure the right way. but usually it never makes it there. i just cant wait. like shaking the presents under the old christmas tree....oh it so drives you nutz......

yea i know hopefully soon i've waited damn near 12 weeks and i just picked a nice size bud prolly a 2g bud but idk what kind of skunk it has purple on the buds and has a skunky citrus smell to it i just put mine in a paper bag a few hours ago so hopefully that grass smell dies off cuz ina few days ima start the cureing process

yeah its all about your strain. it should stink all the time and more when it drys all the way. sumtimes it just does not smell. let me geuss you trimed it while it was wet as well?

nice bro looks bomb man i suggest you start reading as much as you can about the curing process so you don't screw up. im not tryna hijack your thread but i wanna show you my girl this is my first real grow and with a 150 hps and i got monster colas size of 20oz bottles no joke

I started trimming as soon as i chopped figured it was the best thing to do. I didnt want the leaves to stick to the buds and be a pain.

i just had a yeild but it smells wierd?... any one could tell me why... it has this organic smell, like it really smells like tree's outside but i dont know what i did wrong?
