Have you ever got high on the job?

Not that im planning on to do it but i wanna hear other poeples story on being baked on the job. I admit i done it heavily in the past but that was becuase my old job never drug test me, never checked up on me and i worked grave yard under the table at some family run security business that really trusted me becuase i never missed a day of work and always show up when ever i get called on. But that experience was bad ass cool,days went buy so fast and i was always looking forward to go to work. Till the recession hit and they went out of business from loosing so much clients. Now im stuck doing warehouses working with a bunch of felons and illegals working sober. Whats your story?

Well I didn't actually get stoned on the job, I sorta did something a little stupider.

The story goes ... back in the dark ages (30 years ago) I had a job in an office. The whole floor was kinda totally open planned with desks everywhere ... about 150 desks and the same number of desk jockies, shuffling paper and answering phones ... hell, it was even before the age of computers.

I used to roll a single paper joint for the drive home after work and I kept it in my cig packet along with my smokes.

One day I lit up a smoke at my desk and inhaled deeply ... only then realising that I had sparked up a joint while in an office of 150 people.

I was the subject of quite a bit of office gossip after that.

Oh, and what was my job?

A Tax Auditor for the IRS.

Back before I got laid off and it was so damn hard to find a good job, I used to get blazed almost everyday on the way to work and every day on break. Somedays even in between break when we got 15min cig breaks, Id just run back to the parking lot and hop in my car.

i work down in a refinery and are subject random search and drug test. they arent really that random but just about everyone who works there is baked in way shape or form. why wouldnt you want to be high on the job it just makes life so much more bareable

I am a rather skinny and work in a place that requires me to lift products up to 50 pounds unloading from trucks, i cant imagine how lazy and unproductive i will be smoking home grown. Mabe a sativa will help me get the job done, but i break a sweat every day.

Thats probably the best job in the world for stoners, nature and weed is an awsome blend, to be a farmer do you have to go to school for it? Or you just sell to stores on the side?

I actually own a rendering company that goes hand in hand with my farm. I farm for myself but I use the manure to compost the remains of the dead animals I get paid to get rid of.

Then I sell the fertilizer from the finished product. It's a disgusting job but I get paid for basically everything I do and I make some of the best soil you will ever come across.

I used to get high all the time when I worked at Best Buy.

On my breaks, I'd go eat at KFC, spark 2 bowls, and head back in. Talk about a pleasant working environment, even during the Holiday season.

Oh yea, I was employee of the month five different times, and throughout my career there I was supervisor of three different departments.

i worked in a sandwich shop in my late teens. toking made it so much better. not only that, but my coworker J was growing master kush at home. he was a very kind friend, all ways giving me bags. (he would not sell, just give some to his close friends) the owner of the sandwich shop didn't mind as long as we didn't eat all the food and kept the smell away from the custies.

it was great way to pass the time. some smiles, some paranoia, & shifts that seemed minutes long. same friend gave me a 1/2 O of blow, too. (a friend owed him money, so he gave him a 1/2 o of marching powder. he had a prob with it in the past, so he gave it to me and said "have fun") and i did. (cleanest stuff i have even seen, and i have seen a bit in my early twenties.)
this marching powder went up my nose over the course of a few days with the help of two girls that i made my bed slaves. some absinthe and splifs+hash........good times.

back to the op. i have smoked during several jobs. waiter, bartender, technical analyst, speaker on string theory, fiction writer, column writer, musician, gardener, painter, yoga & kabbalah instructor, guitar teacher, and i record fellow musicians with my home recording studio. all the jobs in red are jobs that i still do. and yes, i am baked during most of them. i am asssssssssssss bit of a ramble and of center from the main topic here and there, however i am very, very stoned. and pretty mellow due to xanax.

I worked for a local greenhouse for all four years of highschool, I would just sit in a barn with a bong until they had something for me to do. And the only busy season is spring so I had alot of payed free time. It was awesome, it would almost feel like I was in a jungle. All those plants look so trippy.
