well i took a clone off of each one of my 4 plants like last week and i wanted to know how do i tell if its growing roots? i have them all in one pott not to big and I'm not planning on growing them there i just wanted to sex them and if anything get some practice with cloning..

i also put my plants to flower yesterday as well, wut blume fert should i give them and when should i start????

also its a cfl grow i have 4 23w bulbs and 1 43 i plan on getting some splitters and adding more lights for flower these are bag seed.

they are in miracle grow dirt which i think is fine I've only added fert to the water like 4 times and they look pritty healthy from what i can tell........

and these plants are LSTed its my first time doing it i think its cumming out good they all have at least 7 nodes at about the same height as the main cola so that's pretty cool.

i also have a question two of my plants started kinda funny one of them split into two main colas and the other into three and i mean like right after the unseraded preleaves popped up and before i LSTed them...........

I would say that Patience is a virtue. If you take 1 out then it may/may not survive. But if you do then you want to be looking for little lumpy marks. They may be dark in colour or may me whitening. Ether way this is the plant starting or trying to form roots.

Hope this helps....

JESUS YOU GUYS LEAVE THEM ALONE.... the shit aint gonna happen over night if your growing in soil then your clones should be in peat pots and YOU WILL SEE THE ROOTS when there ready to transplant they will grow right out of the peat pot Duhhhhhh

Once your plants root they will start growing again. It can take from 1-3 weeks in my experience for rooting to occur.
Agreed. You'll have to wait for them to start showing signs of growth, so that you'll know they've taken root. The pot is too big to be able to see roots poking out anywhere, until long after that. :)

They usually turn more towards a slight green/yellow color as the carbohydrate is used to make roots, once the roots are in the soil they will start taking nutrients and water again and the plant will turn back to it's nice green color and start growing.

in the future if you really want to know, don't plant your cuttings into soil, put them in a peat pellet or some floral foam, or rockwool.. when they've adequately rooted you see the roots shooting out all over and you put em in soil.
