every single person ive talked to has said they support feingold now that ron johnson has been exposed for who he really is(alot of them had supported him too), these people are from all walks of life around here, I dont know where the pollsters get their info from but its not from small town/rural wisconsinites or from the university of wisconsin campuses. your right when you say russ has been the underdog before, but he's also come out on top when all is said and done. Ron johnson blew his chance and keeps making it even more unlikely he will win as we get into the end game here. He fucked up real bad with his cafta and nafta benefitting the american people talk, people here are in a rage over that and he also fucked up when feingold put out a 72 page plan to take care of stuff and what he wants to do in general by taking his own bs campaign rhetoric that didnt actually have any details on anything he planned just a bunch of vaugue promises he earlier released and blowing it up font size wise so it would be like 3 pages of nonsense over 73 pages so his plan would be bigger than russ's. No joke, that was his response when people tried to ask him about his campaign plans and what he would cut and etc compared to feingold.
I gotta be honest i was a bit scared for russ too, but ron johnson has pretty much taken that away.

You seem to be focusing on absolutes. As in how could I even think about supporting a candidate holding one position you find objectionable. However, the position is in line with my pre-existing belief that the statute of limitations exemption should apply to murder and nothing else. My position is consistent.

And you should know by now that cheap emotional appeals fall flat before Johnnyorganic. I swear I think Democrats would prefer the rule of arbitrary to the rule of law.

You brought up Feingold's opposition to the Pat Act. Ergo you brought up the Pat Act. I simply pointed out that Obama signed off on more than a few provisions of it - key provisions that Progressives yelled about for years. And a helluva lot of Democrats did as well.

Perhaps your concept of absolute philosophical purity in political theory only applies to the opposition.



ASIDE: I just finished a hairy exam. I am pretty sure I nailed it up until the very last problem which was worth 21 points. Fuck! At least I can count on partial credit for that one because I did complete it, just not correctly.

And I am satisfied that if that last problem fucked me up, it probably juked the rest of the class, too.
