Looking to start growing. I don't know where to begin. Need Help and Advice!

I've been doing research on indoor growing for the past two weeks and I've finally decided that I'm going to start growing. I want to make my own grow box (I want to try and grow two plants in the box), but I don't know where to start. So if you guys could help me out and tell me everything I need to know from the dimensions of the grow box you would recommend, the types of lights and fans I should buy, and the types of soil and food I should use. Any tips and advice is greatly appreciated, Thanks!

Also, I plan on trying to grow White Widow plants. So take that into consideration. Any tips and advice for growing better White Widow plants is greatly appreciated as well!:leaf:

first of the wiz is sick wit it for your first grow i would reccomend starting of wit some bag seed.......... mabe two plants.. as far as the box goes you can make that how ever you want one important thing is that it needs to have reflectiv wall...i made mine with a science project board finally found a real use for that shit......lol you also need to make some sort of adjustable platform for your lights i use CFL's there cheap and inexpensive to run....and usually one 42 watt bulb is fine per plant.......a fan is needed two the rest ill leave it to you some things are best learned by fucking up....lastly remember its just a weed its really not that deep....

You have a lot of reading ahead of you. There are so many different ways of growing you have to figure what you want for yourself. There's a lot of great info on here and most members are more than willing to answer questions. Happy reading!

i can tell you asking that question will get you many a response. all different. you have to decide on a budget,and type of system you would like to try rather it be soil or hydro. i myself prefer hydro as it keeps you involved a little more than a soil grow. soil to me is just add water every few days and it will take care of itself. hydro has a lot of science behind and keeps me amazed witch keeps e more involved with my grows. some will tell you you need mh. some hps and some say cfl's but it is all about your budget. i have a simple basic deep water culture hydro system that i use that is very cheap and easy to make and i still use it today even with several grows now under my belt. why up grade when what i use works for me. and it doesnt cost more than a few bucks. most of you problaly already have laying around the house. so if you like send me an email or pm me and i will give you my opion of what is easy to use to be sucessful with a good yeild to get you off to a good start

welcome to the world of growing.....

First get some really good seeds because my first grow would have been much better if i started with good genetics. Once you germinate your seeds you will be on a road that takes about 4 months from seed in that time you will have alot of time to plan and execute your system.

I always say you get out what you put in so dont cut corners on lights soils foods.

it would likely be the best to start in the dirt . Not only cheaper but easier to get a grip.....

If you're good at building than yes it would be a good design. They do make a lot of pre-built grow boxes, computer towers, cabinets and tents that you can purchase right off line to start out with also.

read on here for a few mnths b4 starting up... ull be happy that u did.. trust me! a good place to strat is you tube... look for "i grow cronic" on you tube... theres a 10 part vid that goes from room set up, to popping ur seeds, to harvest...

Yeah I think I'm going to take my time with this. I'll be sure to check out those vids!
