ima clear dis shit up for everybody. both coasts got the goods but it more available on da westcoast. if u want da goods on da eastcoast it gonna cost more. my homeboy lived in memphis for a few months and a ounce of they most available bud is only $55, he said it took 4 blunts there to equal 1 blunt here on da westcoast. i got another homeboy dats from chicago and he said basically da same thing. i also know somebody else dats from new york dat said dats da reason most people rolls blunts in bigger cigars on da eastcoast. here in da westcoast we just roll up in cigarillos.

I havent read all of this thread but i will say that i have lived all over the us, i have smoked the best from new york down to florida, from cali to az, to texas, mexico you name it... been to amsterdam twice and in all honesty when you get the goods ITS ALL THE SAME. cali has the best variety due to its lax laws but if you know the right people your going to get the best bud on the earth regardless of location... that is the beauty if indoor growing you can create the best climate on earth!

All I do know is that one of the best strains to ever be created came from New York...NYC Diesel! I can't say anything special about Cali, but I have smoked many primo strains from there, like some of the Kush strains. Nothing has had the greatness of the Diesel! I will second that Whitt2K1. I can't speak for the entire east coast -- I'm sure there's great stuff in the south.
But when I lived in Brooklyn that isht was a joke. Guys would pull out little glass bottles with a proclaimed "hydro" bud in 'em. And it would just be high grade schwag. I'd sling a lill at hipster parties and idiots would take out their dime bags to try to compare and it would make me "LOL."

I'd have to say, west, mid-west and I assume the south.
