You're kidding, right? Did you not read the thread? It's posted all overWhy are they called Star Trek strain?
Thx homes!Very appealing
Experimental method consisted of starting out pruning 30-40% leaves (including fans) at all times to allow extra light penetration. You do this by going around each of your leaves and trimming the tips of each point of a leaf off, leaving short, squared off looking leaf structures. I will post pics of this later to show exactly how it looks for those who can't picture what this looks like. But it's extremely simple. When I first started doing this pruning method, it began inducing a lot more branching than what it would have had I decided not to touch it. I ended up cloning this specific plant after it sexed female. Based on the areas that I chose to clone from (Top of the plant as it was more compact and healthier), the lower growth began to branch out quite a bit, with the upper stalk now looking very thin. If you can see where the stalk splits off, I went down pretty deep and cut at one of the very lower nodes and ended up taking the whole upper stalk and just stripped it for a whole batch of clones. This left a base stalk that you see with just a bunch of lower growth branches. I left it to see if it'd recover and maybe get more clones, but then it developed a desireable structure that made me want to transplant her outdoors with all the other smaller ones. And I figured the head start in size over the small clones that hadn't even rooted yet would be a much better option if I wanted to try and develop some big girls in the middle ... And @ 8-10 ft, I think I succeeded? Maybe? hahadam they look great, nice sized stalks to, what was the experimental topping method? i really like UB method to get 4 main colas with one top, although i have found a way to get 7-8 on 1 topping.
sorry to hear the widow was being used as support and the side branches werent getting max light
hott damn those are beautiful.....i've always wondered what it would be like to be Jack .....i'd definately would be going to see the giant lol. Although I'd be climbing very slowly. wouldn't want to hurt them...must smell fantastic.Experimental method consisted of starting out pruning 30-40% leaves (including fans) at all times to allow extra light penetration. I've been sticky as fuck all day! Felt great to take a shower a bit ago. I tried to rub my hands to get all the THC off and into a hash ball but i was still soaked. Even walking in the GH will brush buds up against you and make you smell like a damn box of fruity pebbles by the time you walk out, so I mean, THC was just melting off me when I finally cleaned up haha and i'm not even done! It's great tho, because I think hash, hash oil, & oil/butter for edibles is one of the best pros of growing, so every bud I trim gives me that much more to throw towards that cause, and I look forward to feasting on that to keep me from smoking on all my colas at once. And don't worry homes, I'll set some aside for you to blaze when you get off parole. It should be even better by then cuz it'll be cured so well. I look forward to submitting a smoke report on this when it is properly dried/cured and ready to blaze.dam they look great, looks like a very nice beginning to the rest of the harvest. the start trek nug looks dank.
man i wish i could get my hands on some of that but not till later in the future cuz you know i cant smoke still. you having fun trimming or what?
Thx homes! I aim to please. What I'm most proud of is that I achieved these results 90% organically, and experienced ZERO burns over the course of 9 months that they grew start to finish. By far some of my most successful results, thus far. Makes me wonder how far I can really push some of this stuff Stay tuned ...Now that's impressive. Well done!
TY brotha, glad you like!Nice job......
