is it better to trim before or after you?

so ive always trimmed my plants up as soon as i pull them. i have a friend that lets it dry then he trims all the dry leave etc. he says it will make it "Taste better" if i trim it dry but i dont see how that would make a difference maybe im wrong... but whats your input?

i actually have some "Late Bloomers" ill try his theory with my others and see if it makes a difference:leaf:

I trim both ways, one with a trimming machine.
A second for my class A+++ I hang to dry in a humidor style setting for 7 to 10 days WITH all leafs and stems so I get a LOOONG dry time.

Im going to put everything WET into the machine that I can because it does a great job. (Wet)
