WTF is up with these plants?!

Ok. It started out doing these very lightly. I thought that it was nutrient burn, and The plants have stopped growing. So I changed the res water and ran clean water for 36 hours. Then I added about 1/2 strength nutes to east them back in. They seem to be getting WORSE! Please help me out with this!

This one seems to be doing great. It's kind of a darker green. It was the smallest now is coming up on the biggest.

Keep in mind that those are lower leaves. The canopy never gets more then 80F. They also have a fan blowing on them 24/7.

it def. looks like nute burn...i would flush them and just feed them straight water for a few days...maybe a week....do u spray ur plants with water while the light is on?!?

No I don't spray my plants at all. The tray gets flooded for 3 mintes 3 times a day.

I got a ppm meter today and it reads 850 ppm. The water nuteral is 170 ppm. So the nutes are only at 680 ppm. Should plants flowering like mine burn at 680 ppm? They are about 24 inches tall... I also got some enzyme stuff that is guaranteed to give me healthy roots in 8 days.

170 ppm is pretty hard for tap water, maybe the hard water is the problem? try epsom salts or using different water source?

what temp is your water/rootzone? if it gets below 60 phosphorous is locked out, which creates a disequilibrium in the nutes. You are showings signs of P deficiency although more deficiencies may exist, like iron which creates white leaves that end up dying off, more blanched then yellow N def. check the temp of the water, and the root zone by simply using a human thermometer if you don't have a reader. make sure to leave it there a few minutes to get the proper reading. Either the water or the roots should be raised from the floor. This especially occurs when containers are directly on concret floors in colder climates.

It may be nightime temp that's the issue. Unless you think the temp is the same during the other half of the day, but it is possible for them to drop more then 10 degrees if you are in a winter currently and they are in the basement. take a green light (flashlight with a green cloth over it) and go check the temps in the dark. As you describe PPM i don't think it's a nutrient feeding issue, they should be able to take less then 1000 easy

If the temp is not the case then it must be the tap water.

i dont think so my tap starts at about 550 im 3 weeks into veg at 900 ppm w/ nutes and they are growing.. well like weeds

I bought some new nutes. Hopefully better shit. Botanitcare pure pro blend bloom organic, 2.5-2-5. I'm going to run clean water for 2-3 days. They should start to look better after 3 days right? anyways, then mabye 300 ppm for 2 days etc.

anyone have any suggestions?

How cold does your room get during the night phase? are we talking big temp. jumps?

80 with light on and 65 with light off. Should I start running the times differently? Have the light turn off at sunrise so as that the room can be heated by the sun?

I don't really have a method of heating the room. I'd rather not go out and buy a heater, but I have a timer if necessary.

However I'm confident that it's nute burn. I gave the plants clean water (filtered tap) and 6 shots of hydrozyme to beef em up. When I start giving them nutes again it's going to be botanicare pro blend. They are now 25 days flowering.

They seem to have gotten a bit bigger...

its normal for fan leaves to turn yellow, in the last stages of 12/12. esp. when you start to flush, 2 weeks b4 12/12.
but the brown stuff on the leaves looks like a little over feeding.
do you feed every other water or every water?.

also are the plants on a bang on. 12/12 sced, like on at 8am and off at 8pm?.
i dont grow hydro, but all i know is that the plants are either taking old nutes, or too many.
either way id sort it, by cutting down on the feed.
