Thanks guys :D. I'm going to do a smoke report comparing my humidor cured bud VS. jar cured bud. I'm positive that the humidor cured buds are much smoother, but I've never done any kind of official comparison to prove it and I figure RIU is a good place. Well, atleast prove it to myself..You guys will only read what I write ;-).

OH shit.. I almost forgot, I was talking to someone a while ago about pure hemp blunts.. Using only marijuana leaf as the shell and ground buds as the filling, sticking it together with hashoil..I roll one or two of these and let them cure for myself usually, but I just remembered I said I would make a tutorial. That's going to be a sticky, I HOPE.

Thanks Darth :D.. I want to make a tutorial but I need hash oil. That's the only thing holding me back really. All I need are some big healthy fan leaves and hash oil. The rest is ground up bud for the filling, obviously. You pretty much just weave together a bunch of fan leaf blades, sticking them together with hash oil, and then lay more over lapping blades to the outside of that woven piece. Eventually you'll end up with what looks like a cigar wrap. That gets stuck between a couple pieces of wax paper and inbetween two heavy books. After it sits a couple days you're ready to roll up. After it's rolled you dry it, and curing is neccessary as you don't want it to dry out too much too fast. Think of what would happen to tobacco leaves in cigars if they didn't cure them properly; they'd be all brittle and harsh. It'd be like smoking a giant cigarette IOW. Where-as, if you don't cure my creation it'll be like smoking a bunch of dried up leaves wrapped around what was good bud.

EDIT : Little personal touches like shmearing the exterior with extra hash oil and rolling it in kief are acceptable. But wait 'til it's been drying a couple days or else it drys too slow with all that shlop on the outside. I did this to the last one I made and our entire circle wanted to go to sleep after a few rotations. Almost way too high.

Wont green fan leaves leave a harsh taste? Even if you dried them they would still alter the taste of the herb. I'm really high; if that doesnt make sense. :bigjoint:

That's why I was talking about curing it (drying very slowly) or else the leafy matter would get harsh.. Those little dabs of hash oil to stick things together add up quickly, too. The wrap ends up drying out slowly and soaking up the oil gradually as it does.. This is one reason I put the freshly assembled wrap inbetween some wax paper and books. It flattens it out and kind mashes everything together. Makes it more of one piece rather than lots of smaller strips I guess. I discovered you can't press it together with lots of force all at once, it won't work the same. You've gotta let it press together very gradually under lesser weight, like with text books, for example. It'll all make sense when there's pictures ;-). Trust me I'm no good at explaining things. I'm better at showing :D

Started taking down the Blue Dream yesterday. Such beautiful buds I felt bad lopping them off. Some of the stickiest, absolute ickiest batches of BD I've had to date. I only cut a couple tops from each plant and will continue today once I'm done with laundry. I had a ball trimming it all down though; a nice little pipeload of scissor hash gave me a good loft for bed last night. Slept hard :D..BD started flowering near a week before the rest, so we can consider this week 11ish right now. I'm glad I let her go so long this time. Last go around with her I chopped clear around 8-9weeks. Way too early, IMO. The difference in size and ripeness is tremendous this time around. God Bud is all in jars now. I'll get a weight for that eventually. The Black is just behind that in paper bags for another day or two..And I made a gnarly batch of chocolate chip cookies with the G13. :-D

I have finally settled on a grow style for next round. I'm going to swap out the 400 for the 600 and do a SOG with 12 plants. Two rows of six clones in 6x6 pots with soil. I'm pretty much done re-doing my ventilation how I want it now. I've got the blower mounted on top where the exhaust was pulling air through the reflector instead of pushing. I got rid of the duct on the left side of the hood , added a 6" 90* to the right side flange and put a 6x4 reducer on that with a short length of flex duct connecting it to a 4" duct collar attached to the blower intake flange. Cut a 10" rectangular hole on the bottom left of the cab and put a vent register for the passive intake. I cut a piece of filter and slapped it on there for good measure. The last configuration put too much strain on the blower motor and was highly inefficient for this size cab. I planned my ducting for something with lots of straight lengths and not a packed space. I'm able to run my blower 30-40% slower than before now. So, yea, there. I'm too high man. My buddy invited me to make some headband bubble and watch Cheers, marathon style. I ended up with a nice bounty to take home and have bubbled up about half of it by now. I'm shite-faced stoned man. If anyone has questions shoot. And if my explaination wasn't good let me know what confuses you and I'll try to help :D
And here is this song it makes me happy.

@Purple : Come on down to the beach any ol time...It's actually been spaced out over the last week. I did cram lots of things into the weekend, bc that's just how I roll sometimes. Those brownies were danksters man for Christ sake. I added all of the G13 and a few grams of kief just incase near an ounce of pot wasn't enough. I had lots of fun trimming the Blue Dream. Mainly because of all the scissor hash, but also the amounts of hardened ripe buds from top to bottom of each branch was staggering. I guess my last minute attack of the strings opened up the canopies just fine ;-). I'm not going to shoot any yield guesses, but I can say Blue Dream has been very nice this round. A/A+ strain to work with as well.

Sounds like you are having a great night my friend :leaf: I have some Wappa here with me and it's just dank as can be, man. Still a one or two hit monster and Ive been smokin it all day everyday for the last week.

It's nice to have bud with "Monster" in the description. We all need that good sticky ;-)..Btw, if you didn't know Blue Dream is clone only for now. If you fall upon some beans they're either pollinated with something else or hermie seed stock. You're in Cali so it shouldn't be hard to find some cuttings at all. If you aren't already a MMJ patient, that will make it tons easier to find clones.

You won't regret it. Been here my whole life (33 years) and wouldn't live anywhere else in the lower 48. If you do move, make sure you have a job all set up. There are very few available jobs around here that pay anything decent.

It's filthy with Blue Dream around here. I haven't been up north in a while so I can't say for certain but you will probably find some..I know of friends in the Bay Area that have it, so it can't be too hard to find.

YES. Solid employment for sure if you're moving to CA . You don't want to be a part of our out-of-work-force.
