as everyone knows there are a shitload of different nutrients out there all making grandiose claims and so on, then every company, whos job is to sell you more nutrients has their feeding charts set up in such a way that you end up buying 3/4 of their product line if you want to follow their program.
i am not an experienced fellow that has been around the block and therefore knows what works and what is not necessary, i also do not want to drop 400 bones on nutrients for a handful of plants and i also dont want to be getting shitty waste of time returns of a half ounce or less a plant like some folks.
so i need somewhere to start where i can then through trial and error over time dicover what works for me.
some background.......
will be grown from seed
there will be 5 or so plants vegged 4 weeks flowered for 8
1000w super HPS hortilux bulb will be used for both veg and flower, seedlings will be allowed to stabilize under 6500k t8 flourescents.
temperatures will be maintained between 70 - 80
in soil using 5 gallon buckets with fox farms ocean forest
plan to water with water that has been run through a reverse osmosis system and then adjusted to 7.0 as needed with ph up/down
nutrients?
if possible i want to avoid trying to mix up different bags of powdered batshit and so on so i am looking for a few good liquid nutrients, was contemplating just using humboldt nutrients "oneness" throughout for simplicity sake until i get more experience as that is "supposed" to be all you need and then adding their "ginormous" nutrient for the flowering period.
am i on the right track for quality results or is this just not correct at all?
additionally how exactly do i calculate how much i am going to need? dont want to have to go through the hassle of reordering stuff from different lot numbers etc halfway through.
thanks for any advice.
