bagseed is garbage.

It is MY humble opinion that bagseed can be grow into dank bud with a little TLC. I have always started from clone except for my bagseed and can't tell a whole lot of difference. If nothing else, bagseed is a good, inexpensive way to hone your skills as a grower.

I have used bagseed both of my two grows, and pure bud so far. Dankity Dank. Plan on growing more bagseed as well. I like the mystery. However, I do have some Anesthesia seeds from Sannies.

Smoking bagseed right now. Paid $60 for the bag and grew 4 girls from those seeds, from those girls I got 1/2lb for free. Might be garbage to some but that's cheap weed to others.

This year was my first grow-it was bagweed and I couldn't be happier. The trick for me was to keep culling until I was left with the biggest, best females.

get some real strains.
i agree, better off going with real strains. i love my LA Confidential, blows everyone elses around out of the water. mainly cause where i live no one trims or cures their weed properly. to be honest though, i have smoked some really good stuff that was from bag seeds. not often though. known strains are the way to go.

I feel that it depends on the bag you are pickin to choose..... if the weed sucks to begin with don`t plant..... I have only grown 2 differant bags thay were kick ass weeds choose the best you are the one that smokes it if it`s good 9 times out of ten. it will be good......

So what you are saying is, Lumpy was bagseed, but he was still pretty cool? lolz

i can't believe how this thread has taken off, never seen anything get this many posts in such a short space of time.

the O.P certainly provoked a reaction from the growing community.

If this is true then how come out of the last batch of bagseed i got 10 seeds,9 were female , 1 died
prior bagseed grow was 5 and 1 male and 4 females, sorry but your wrong. But again if u buy shitty weed u grow shitty weed lol

You got lucky then. I've done 6 bagseeds, all hermed in the end. Friends did another 8 bagseeds, all hermed in the end. Some mid flowering, some late, but they all hermed. Since then got several good strains from dispensaries and no herming with stable genetics. If you bought a bag chances are very high it's a herm seed if you find one in there. If you wanna waste 3-5 months flowering out something that is more likely to have seeds than not. Go for it. If you wanna roll the dice, and hope everytime you get lucky and get 9 females, and no herms, then go for it. Also consider you say you got 10 seeds from ONE batch, meaning those were ALL likely either herm or feminized. Depends on what plant pollinated the one that made seeds. (was it the plant itself, or another one nearby). If it seeds itself, it's gonna produce herm seeds in all likelihood. If it gets seeded by a nearby herm...seeds will probably all be feminized. So you got lucky, congratulations.

I HIGHLY recommend quality genetics from the get go, or your chances of being disappointed go WAY, WAY UP. Sorry man, your wrong too.

I would like some solid info on hermies cuz I have never seen one in 5 grows and people talk about them here like they are waiting around every corner. Am I just lucky?
