Roots growing out bottoms of pots, do I transplant?

I am about a week from flowering, noticed last night that roots are growing out the bottoms of my pots. i have 10", 2.5 gallon pots. I am LST'ing most of my plants. do I need to transplant to a bigger plant. this is a closet grow. any input would help...thx

Well, only if you have room in your closet, are willing to wait an extra week to allow the plants to recover from transplant and grow into their new pots. But you don't have to repot.

the right thing to do.. would be to transplant man.. period.

OR! if you have the balls to do it.. you could just keep an eye out for root tips that begin to grow out of the bottom holes of the pots. Once you see one starting to peek out of the hole.. simply take a razor blade.. and cut the end of the root off.

I wouldn't recommend it.. but if you think you can do it... then give it a whirl!

Your plants / roots will double or triple in size.
Yes, you need to transplant... most likely 5 gallon pots minimum.
