Yeah Im waiting for my new usb micro ,so as soon as i get it,, boom boom and snap snap. Yeah, i cant wait to look at another bit in two weeks to see the changes. the joy plants bring ay,
Heres a quick 300x, sorry for the shoddy snap as taken through the scope.
DSC00076.jpgOnce again sorry for the poo poo quailty. Really like the pics ghb, can i ask when you say 2 weeks from harvest, is that a 6-8week harvest time?
Those trichs ive snapped are from sunk1 so im givin them 10 weeks ish before I even think of harvest.
Im still trying to snap it at 600x, its to close for the whole picture, but to short to the fine detail. Come on fed-ex, or dhl, or who ever is bring my new microscope.
Take it easy everyone.

amber is key if thats preference really. A good sativa might like a cloudy trich harvest to help send your head out the window. But amber is ideal in most cases yes.

i'm in the uk and i ordered it from amazon.co.uk, i'm sure you can get exactly the same product where you are.
it's called veho discovery usb microscope, more expensive than the handheld scopes but worth it imo

the pics i took were on week 8 of a 10 week flowering time lemon skunk. the last couple of weeks they started to turn colour really quickly.

25% cloudy...Keep it going, buddy.
Hahahaha. This cracks me up! Someone shows a blurry pic of 3 out-of-focus trichome heads and we get a percentage of cloudy? What? That pic looks 100% cloudy to me. There are some truly gifted eyes on this site.

Its funny but I thought the same thing. That is the sign that I harvest at, Sometimes I harvest at the first sign of the amber. A good grower will be able to tell maturity that suits themselves and their own expectations. Some strains will be tastless and plain if waited until full amber, sometimes thats just too far. Some of the best Green Crack I have grown had been taken at the first signs of amber. Sampling and experimentation is the true key to choosing to harvest. The amber color is just an all around fail safe. Now im sure people will disagree but experienced growers will agree that its about reading your plants.

Here be the bud i got that trich from, small lower leaf, and just for the info. The bud isnt where the top should of been. She is in a box so had to top her!!! Gutted, got over that and as you can see she is doing good. Like I said it a 60 day flower, and 28 to go. Just cant wait. And for comparison sake, the 2nd pic is a lower brach, enjoy and take it easy..

Don't you have some off's to fuck?

And you can still calculate a percentage with only 4 trichromes, asshat. It's called a sample size in statistics.

I live in Australia, we only get technology when the rest of the world has moved on to two or three more generations of the technology ... then we get the early stuff, if it wasn't for the internet we would be stuffed - we are a Third World country ... well it's not that bad, but we don't have the huge concentrated populations to make it worthwhile for businesses to sell the latest and greatest technology.

Thanks for the info, I'll have a look at Amazon

Anyone who tries to apply statistical analysis to a sample population of "4" has failed to grasp the concept of statistics.
Statistics are supposed to give a predicted result should you apply your percentage to any other population size.
A population of 4 is not useful for calculating any ratios.
