Do i need to manicure more before canning and are my buds still too moist?

hmmm seems like that would be too long IMO. im not sure though, kinda wondering when to jar mine...

i am wondering this as well, i think i have been putting mine in jars a little bit to early :O any downfalls to this?

Shouldn't be as long as the jars are burped enough to keep it from getting mold. Should make for a nice long cure if done right.

On trimming and manicuring, I find it easier to manicure when still wet. I trimmed and dried this time around, and when manicuring before jarring i found it very difficult. The small leaves were curled and receded and very hard to get to. When it's wet, they stick out and are easier to take care of

The cracking sound will happen after a few weeks of curing. Do the normal burping of the jars every day and after a while when it doesn't appear to push any moisture to the outer parts of the bud try twisting one. If you get that crackle sound then you can close them up in the jars and leave them be until you want to smoke them. So you cure them until they are ready and then put them away to age. During the aging period the flavors and aromas will break down and become more complex. The high will also increase because the thc is continuing to convert into its active form. Trust me, once you have had 6 month cured weed you will want to do it to all of your weed. From what I have read indicas are best around 3-6 months in the curing process. After that you will start to lose flavor. While sativas are best cured 6-12 months. Then their flavor begins to degrade. Also make sure to keep it in a dark cool place. This will make it keep longer than if you just have it sitting on your night stand under a lamp. Just like wine, heat and light are your enemies.
