Mold on new sprouts?

I have a simple DWC setup with lots of bubbles wetting the underside of netpots. Germed seeds were set in the pots with rapid rooters and hydroton 36 hrs ago. This am all but one has formed a small sprout with the seed case still on. All good so far. But 2 of them have a white fuzz on part of the stem. Is that mold? The rapid rooters aren't getting any wetter than when I used this method in the past, and I had no problem then. I took the humidity dome off. Is this a problem and what can I do?

Good first step on removing the humidity dome I have issues with it but only because I live in a humid area and its over kill, pics would help but wait for others to chime in. What are your air temps, water temps, ph, ppm's etc.

Temps are mid 70s. The humidity was being kept to 55% with a humidifier but I have let it fall to about 40%. There are no nutrients in the water yet, it is ro water. I'll take a pic and post soon.

I had green algae on one of my rapid rooter plugs when I was vegging in the dome.. What I did was cut it out with some sharp ass mustache scissors and it was gone , but did stunt the growth of one the plants .. Algae.jpg

Looks like the seed spoiled & rotted yet still sprouted... I would personally (if you have more seeds & since your so young in its life) kill it & start over.
I was thiking about killing my runt too its just as old as the other but way smaller looks like a 5 week veg when in reality its close to like 10 weeks pplus the buds will probably be weak so will probably toss it tonight ..

If you have the room let it grow then just make hash out of it :D
