Plant stretch and cola size

So my plants stretched bad, I didnt realize til too late my Bulb was toast. My question is since I put them on a new bulb 400 watt will they develop big main colas still or its fubarred now? What I mean is will I still get a big top bud even with the stretch? these plants are all Sativas and 4 1/2 weeks of flower. I will be super pissed if I dont get big buds versus the smaller crap. Basically will it fill out?

sativa's are gonna get big period... I don't have a bottle in front of me, but Bushmaster is the best thing you can get to control height, and in response the buds swell big around the shorter beefier Bushmaster plant... A little goes a long ways... You might be able to use some now, just check the label out for yourself...

it looks like there is somthing wrong with your lowers leaves..........thats prolly why your budds arent big you might be lacking some nutes or have lockout or somthing, but im no expert.

If they're 4 1/2 weeks in and Sativa, you've probably got another two months to go dude, and they will get huge. I think those spots on the bottom leaves are from calcium or phosphorus or some shit, right guys? You may need to flush the plants and feed them water for a day and then go right back to nutes, if you haven't already flushed recently. But Sativas take FOREVER! If you haven't grown before, don't listen to people saying you should cut after 8 weeks, cuz bigger plants take longer to cut, and the more time you give them, the weight will pack on exponentially.

yeah, I worry that my yield will be lower then expected, by a huge margin to say the least. Although the yield doesn't mean shit to me, it's the quality of the smoke that I ultimately care.

even 70% sativas are gonna end up tall and lanky. i grow blue mystic quit often and i have a sativa dominant pheno that stretches no matter what i do. its the only time i top a plant is when i see that pheno. i always end up with 20 or so 5" colas at the same level. really good beginning of the day smoke.

Personally, I prefer a head high, the kind that you can actually function and socialize. My associate grew an outdoor afghan Kush that knocked me on my ass; I could not function at all, Funny thing My cousin's wife smoked some of it and after about 5 minutes, she asked everyone who's house she was in ROFL. I don't like that feeling, maybe if it was meant for commercial distribution then I wouldn't care but this is my smoke, and it will be gifts this year as well to my smoking buddies. I hope for at least a 14 grams or more off of it, and the other 2 is a play by ear thing.

It's early yet, you should be okay. Right now is when the buds start filling out, packing on weight, etc....and should change alot, within the next few weeks. No, you might not end up with those "donkey dick" colas that you see around,lol but still, they should end up looking really nice. :weed:

Sweet, one of my concerns of course is most bloom ferts out there have a high concentration of n, my buddy gave me some 0-50-37 which I plan on using due to the foliage still being a dark green, I don't want the plant to get dependant on nitro and keep growing foliage, I want buds DAMNIT!
