Nirvana's Northern Light Feminized + Autoflower Grow

they look like they are starting to flower, but not sure. Yea i didnt want to take the chance of them not flowering cuz of what everyone was saying about them so i just threw them into 12/12 when they got to how tall i wanted them.

hell yeah man thanx, but you just basically grew to how tall you wanted them and put them in 12/12? if thats the case then they werent auto,theyr suppose to grow to a certain hight and then flower, how tall was yours before you flowered because mine are about a foot tall and showing bud sites, about how long should i wait to put them in 12/12 i planted them september 9 they all have white hairs and theyr growing, what should i do??

Your plants have veg for five weeks and a foot tall. I say put them in 12/12 now and do not wait any longer. Put them in 12/12 and leave them and dont change the time again. Plants looking good Swann.

yeah i did, i figured they should all theyr is i guess is preflowers and no real bud development, i'll keep updating.

Hey all, great thread by the way.
i got some nirvana NL AF beans for my 1st grow, using CFL in a 60x60 grow tent. Was getting a bit worried as it's been going for just over 2 weeks and is only 4 inches high, but reading this thread has put my mind at ease. Built myself a ScrOG but think it will be a while till she's big enough to use it!! Have got her on 20/4 light schedule and planned to veg for 3 or 4 weeks, that may change to 5 or 6 weeks, depends on size. Had to remove 4 of the fan leaves from round the top as they were covering the nodes below but don't think it has done too much damage, if any.
Here are some pics of her. First 2 were after 13 days, last 2 day 16 after cutting the fan leaves. Any comments greatfully received

Update: Day 46 2 days into 3rd week of flowering lighting (12/12). Continuing to neut with foxfarm every other watering. No problems as of yet. Watering has been increasing as they drink a lot. Rock Locks though are the turtles of the bunch as they have all showed sex but haven't really started to "flower" much yet. They don't take as much water as either the Big Buddahs or the Northern Lights. They were bonus seeds sent by the distributor, non auto's i believe.

Thanks man, i'll look into that. Pots are 10inch deep and filled with 12 litres of houseplant compost. seeds were feminized so no danger of any nutz popping out. Bought from Nirvana back in July, so a bit worried they may be from the dodgy batch i've been hearing about, guess time will tell. Would it be worth switching to 18/6 now or should i leave as it is?

I dont know how long an auto flower takes to show preflowers but i didnt have the time to see if they would AF or not and just stuck them on 12/12 so i can harvest begining of december.

Sup One great thread Im a big fan of this strain
question for anyone, when growing 12/12 from seed Non-auto flower which spectrum do you use? 2700 or the 5000+? I was thinking 5000+ (to help it veg well) with 2700 side lighting or support lighting, when they start shootin pubes switch to full on hps

Thanks JM, good to get someone elses opinion - you're never too sure how things are going when it's your first grow. Got to ask about lighting schedules tho. I had mine on 20/4 for a week once they went into the rockwoll then switched to 18/6 for around 3 weeks then i flipped 12/12 31 days from seed. I dont quite know when AF's are meant to show preflowers but they didnt untill day 9 of 12/12, 40 days from seed. If mine would of AF on their own i dont know, i wasn't going to risk it as i'm constrained by time and also want to smoke some for christmas. As far as yield decrease i am not to sure, I am hoping that because most didn't inherit the AF gene that maybe the northern lights genetics are more dominant in all area's including yield as the ruderalis genetics seem non extistent.

Cheers for taking a nose through my thread, as for the cat it wasn't his fault, i was babbysitting a mates bitch and it was her, found leaves in her poo. Turns out it wasnt such a bad thing the most chewed plant turned out to now be my biggest and 3 of her branches/colas i've had to LST. But i have heard some horror stories about cats and grows.
