First harvest, hollow main stem

I just harvested one of my babies (sorry no pics available now), BUT the main stem is hollow. Is that even normal? I mean, she's about 3ft tall and the stem is not very thick, more like double the diameter of a straw, and inside, there's a hole where I can prolly squeeze a straw :)

don't forget this is my first harvest and if that is absolutely normal I wouldn't know about it. And I wouldn't know about it anyway because I'm not a grower, n'or have I ever touched such plants but it's pure info for me :) hehe :leaf:

Depends how large the plant is - my main stems become solid and woody, but they are as thick as my wrist.

I actually kept the main stem from my last harvest. Well, not the entire thing.. I cut it down to the length of a straw. I've used it and it works great. No holes or tares anywhere. Does the job just fine. ;)

peace.

phew... anyway I realised I chopped it down a bit too early. It's not the end of the world but it would have still grown a bit I guess... *sigh*
