Canopy Management

What do you do when you run out of vertical space in your veg room???

Like you're waiting on your latest ladies to finish up in flower, and your babes in veg are doing too well and are ready, or beyond ready to go into flower but you don't have space for em yet

I've already topped earlier on cuz i grow 3-4 main branches

So would YOU top again? or what?
-don't really have space to train em in any direction either

can't complain too much, rather have em growing too much than not enough...but leaving and branches are gonna be hitting bulbs pretty soon...es muy no bueno:-(

"Topping" is just cutting off a growing shoot but usually refers to the first time it's done with a given plant. You can, however, trim it about as much as you want. If they get too big, cut them so they are smaller. We always top our plants and then, when the two or more new stalks are each on at least their second node, we top them as well about a week before flowering. We'll then have at very least four main colas, usually more. As long as your plants are still in veg, you can cut them up as much as they can handle to keep them small.

Top them, make established clones from the topping pieces, quickly plant all of them in perfect lines right below the high-tide mark at the beach at night and call the park service to inform them of a grow-op you discovered. Read confused local newspaper stories.

my first experiment w/ LST isn't going great, got two og18's that i attempted it w/ in flower, both were FIM'd at the beginning of flower stretchy lil girls they are...now have lights as high as they can go and one plant dangerously close to the light, and one not as close as i'd like...such is life...live and learn

since your running a sog you should keep a few mothers around and right before harvest take clones so by the time you harvest they clones could have rooted and only vegged for a week or so and straight into flower..So how many plants do you have in veg at the moment and how long have they been vegging?
