Well im about 3 weeks into flower with this "unknown" strain.(it could be one of three strains, not sure but we THINK its williams wonder)

Just wanted to share my grow with everyone as im proud of my little girl so far :D

I have a really simple setup with 1x 175W HPS, 3 gallon pot with miracle gro cactus, palm & citrus potting soil and perlite. (I know miracle gro sucks but ive had GREAT results with their cactus soil, it drains really fast and has no nutes of course) I'm using ionic grow nutes.

I'm not 100% sure of the strain though. It came from an old timer... a family friend basically. He's been growing this strain for many many years now and he's not exactly sure what the strain actually is. He's given it a nick name, but not sure of the ACTUAL strain, he thinks it possibly could be a.) williams wonder or b.) romulan.

With that being said this is by far the BEST most AMAZING bud ive ever inhaled. EVERYTHING about it is phenomenal. The taste is 2nd to none(Can't give an accurate description quite yet since its been a few months since i last smoked it). The smell... oooh the smell... you could smell me coming from miles away, really potent skunky like smell with fruity hints... but its VERY potent / strong.

When dried and fully cured properly, they are ROCK hard nuggets, very very dense and very colorful bluish purplish, light green and orange.

Its definitely indica dominant. It seems to be a very compact plant also with very close node spacing.

Oh and did i mention its absolutely COVERED in trichs. YUM :lol:

Anyways, i know its pretty much impossible to identify a strain just by looking at pics alone, but maybe you could give me some ideas of what you all think.

*EDIT* BTW i forgot to mention.. some of the calyxes are HUGE. Like mutant huge.. i will post pics of em later

Thanks guys im really excited! This is a dream come true to be honest hahaha

I had first smoked this strain about 5 years ago, and have smoked it a total of maybe 6 times all together. Like i said its from a family friend (my dad grew up with him) and i had only got to smoke it when this guy came around. He would never sell any... no matter how much i offered, yet he would give me nugs here and there. (if i offered him $50 dollars for a gram he'd tell me no, but would give me a nug or two)

Anyways, one day i got to talking to him about growing, one thing lead to another and i ended up finding out he grew (or was really close with the guy who did) and i wound up walking away with a $50 dollar clone! Best $50 ive ever spent thats for sure!!!


So anyways yea, from the first time i smoked it i would DREAM of getting a clone some how, some way. I swear its one of the long lost legend's of the hippy days. Its an incredible strain to say the least.

I plan on keeping this plant for the rest of my days some how. I know i will not be able to keep a steady mother forever, so hopefully i can stress a few into hermies so i will have a few seeds as a backup plan.. Who knows, we'll see what happens.

Does anyone know if this is actually possible? to stress the plant into a hermy?

Basically im trying to get seeds out of the deal... are there any downsides to doing this? Will it have negative effects on the seeds? any "birth defects"? haha

Oh and P.S.
I forgot to mention this plant could possibly be the ORIGINAL williams wonder, but also could be hash plant OR possibly even romulan. Now theres no way to tell this for sure... im tending to lean towards the original williams wonder based on what i've read about the different strains.

Williams Wonder

An early '80s marijuana strain that is mostly forgotten. Except among old timers who will still claim this is the best marijuana type on the planet. Amongst apprentice tokers Williams Wonder is nothing but weed lore. Williams Wonder is thought to be extinct.

Research shows Reservoir Seeds revived this weed strain recently.Through their own marijuana breeding program. <--- not sure about this (Because the photos i've seen look nothing like what i have... in fact, they dont even look like good bud.. not even CLOSE to what i have)

Williams Wonder was first available via original marijuana seed bank Super Sativa Seed Club, a marijuana seed bank that sowed plenty of marijuana seeds back in the day.
From SSSC seed bank catalog, "suitable for indoor commericial growing. Heavy yields of resinous bud. Small compact plant. 1500 - 2000 grams per sq meter. Two people could not finish a joint. Plant turned purple because of very cold fall."
With the marijuana seeds receiving such a strong recommendation from Super Sativa Seed Club it's strongly possibly old timers who collect marijuana seeds do have some Williams Wonder marijuana genetics stashed away in a tin.

Now judging from the description given in this article, it REALLY makes me believe more and more that this is the original williams wonder, (or damn close)

Take it easy guy, I'm sure it was just a typo. I don't think they were actually trying to convince people they'd get 4 pounds per sq meter... Anyways I'm just the messenger, I copy and pasted.

Im calm, just if you hadve come back and said it wasnt a typo Id be getting on the plane in search of some of its seeds!

Well at least i think it was a typo :shock:

and good luck with the seeds you wont find them :D haha

I like to believe that im one of the lucky few with this particular strain, and i don't think anyone has seeds because its clone only :lol: (as far as i know, but then again no one even knows where or what this strain came from.. guess they smoked too much :eyesmoke:)

Actually, im trying to turn my plant into a hermy so i can get seeds from it... I'm not even sure if it will work out, but i sure would love to have some beans stashed away for a backup plan


Maybe ill move to amsterdam and start a seed bank! I can see it now, ill call it 'secret genetics' haha
