Speckled Leaves, Spots turn Brown after Time

ez all, just over one month into flower and the leaves on the top half of one of my plants have developed LOADS of speckles on them.

Cut the nutes out for a feed and it seemed to stop any more but I wondered if this is bug related and I'm just in the period before the next gen hatch??

I've taken a couple of the fans off of some leaves and gone over the back with a scope and can't see any creepers and there doesn't seem to be any webs about either?

What d'ya all think, do i need to spray or cut the nutes??

thanks for any help + rep

thanks Vern, have gone over the back with a 60x and couldn't spot any beasties, perhaps I just have to try harder!

I had spotting exactly like that on my previous grow... My PH was off and I corrected it, but the spots never went away, they just stopped spreading. Not too sure if that's what's happening here, just offering my experiences.

thanks RJ all comments welcomed, may give her a flush.

Yeah looks like some parasite - aphids, thrips, spider mites, white flys, assuming your pH and ppm are in line. Saw something similar w/ a copper toxicity once but the spots weren't that yellow.

thanks for al the advice peeps, i gave her a tobacco + chilli wash last night, will do the same again tonight and probably flush as well (dependant on PH run off), still haven't actually spotted any bugs but will get some NEEM from hydro store in next day or two.

hopefully won't affect her too much in the last few weeks.

well sprayed again, still couldn't spot any bugs. PH from soil run off was v acid though, red on scale have flushed about 6 times and got it to pale yellow but didn't want to cause any stress and had run out of 24hr+ water so have left it at that for now. We shall see!

the run of test for ph testing will always be much lower than the soils actual ph. you may have a run off of 4.0 ph but the soils ph maybe closer to 6.0 ph as the sats and nutes drain out from the bottom pot holes (during a run of test) and dont give you an accurate reading of the actual soils ph level.

makes sense that, i guess you're not going to get 100% of all salts and nutes in the solution, just a dilution of (it being water), cheers for the pointer.

No problem.in my opinion testing run off is a waste of time as you need to know the mediums ph and not the run off ph.i never test my run off for this reason.i just want to know what the ph is is my medium.

i have got one of these crappy soil tester kit - soil in tube, add ph indicator shake and wait. Never changes colour though, just soil dissolved in watery solution colour! I'll have a look for an alt
