recommend me a book

i just read in this months high times that jorge says it's easier to revert a harvested plant back to veg then it is to take cuttings and root them. total opposite of what why all do here.

he says to harvest all the buds then leave a few leaves on the main plant and put it back into veg. the person was in mid flower and liked the buds and wanted to keep the strain going. they asked if they could take cuttings while flowering. he said no. said they would grow funky. then said to save the whole plant and reveg it. but he went on to say it would grow funky for 4 or 5 weeks.

there are a few basic needs. water, light, food, medium. they have a set light schedule. they prefer a certain environment. that's about it. i think anyone who's put in 3 or 4 harvest could put together a book. there are a lot out there. you can find them specific to your needs. indoor growing, outdoor growing, hydro, soil..........

jorges new book does have some nice pics and is put together very nicely.

I got a little library myself collected over the years but nothin's better than personal experience. I'm just startin out myself, the books are great reference and so is this forum.

I highly recomend Buds for Less by SeeMoreBuds. Not just because it's GardenKnowm's book but because it's very staight forward easy to follow, nice pictures, and the ideas are easily expanded upon.
The other "bible" type of books are great for reference material but they are very wordy and get technical real fast.
Five Easy Gardens by Jorge Cervantes is good for showing a nice range of setups great to get your mind going.
Easy Marijuana Gardening by Ed Rosenthal is a real real real simplified grow book I bought it for a friend who had a black thumb she thought it was great. Here's link to that one on barnes and noble:

And as always this forum is a vast wealth of info and experienced mofo's but the books do look nice.

i recomend buds for less only as a side book, or an adition to a grow book collection, alittle to simlistic, if you want to know alot.

I agree with you tckfui that buds for less is simplistic but I think that was the question. Which book is the most simple but effective in helping a new grower. Buds for less is pretty much step by step day by day do this and grow bud. Plain and simple. Easy Marijuana Growing by Rosenthal just as simple just not a step by step guide like buds for less is.
