What is your avg yield for your Autoflowering plants?

Just curious as to what the average yield is for all you autoflowering growers. I searched and havnt really been able to find a decent answer so I figured I would make a post and hopefully some of you will reply.

You can say what you got per plant or just give a average of multiple.

I myself have been doing full cycle plants but am really considering switching to autoflowering as they only take half the time. As long as I can get around half the yield I am going to switch over. Figured it would equal out to about the same about over the same time period. This way I can do several strains a year as I can only do 2 plants a time.

Hope it all goes well for you. I have a lot of the same nutes, but form what Ive read, a lot of the autoflowering strains dont like nutes too much.

Bump. About to order seeds. Is it worth it to do autoflower? Lately ive been getting about 3-4oz off 2 plants (in 4 months time). I figure I could probably do that doing 2 autoflowers at a time in a 4-5 month period.

Hesitant to order tho. Want some more feedback.

That's not what he asked. Also, you ever grown an auto? No? Didn't think so.

@OP

Asking how much does an autoflower produce is impossible to answer because we know nothing about your skill, the environment you grow in or the particular autoflower strain you want to try.

I understand that. That is the main reason I just asked for an average amount.

I will be growing from soil. In tent environment with plenty of air circulation. 400w HPS. Will prob try Lowrider #2 and ak47+lowride2 hybrid to start.

Hello. I have just under 4 years with autos and there are so many things involved that to be honest no one can really give you a round about yeild because everyone has a different skill level. Not tryin to be a jerk or anything. I have a strain i can yield 4 to 5 oz off that is an auto of my creation. There are several things i have found that increases yields and quality in all autos. For starters you need good soil and autos being nute sensetive you need to be careful its not to hot of a soil. I use a 5 gal pot half full of ocean forest on bottom then 1/4 happy frog on top of it and 1/4 light warrior on top of that. It allows the plant as it grows to hit hotter soil as it goes. I run that with no nutes till week 4 and works awesome. Also as you add your soil mix in some rho to help the roots grow better from benefitting from beneficial bacteria. Use a pot thats wider that it is deep that way the roots can spread horizontally. That helps the plant stay shorter and bushier as a plant only likes to grow out near the width of the root base. A mh bulb will be a big plus until veg is over then use hps. Good circulation with a fan blowing on the plants also helps by making the stalk n stems stronger. Also train your plant so you have more areas with good light coverage. Start low on the nuttes and work up. The first feeding i give is 1/4 grow by earthjuice with a 1/10 dose of bloom n micro nutes. Then the next is 1/4 bloom with 1 tsp backstrap molasses n work up to higher doses from there. Almost like a normal photo plant just more sensetive. If you are having good results with photos just search here and learn n ask questions youll do great.

Thanks a lot for the info. I have a HPS/MH ballast but thought I needed to run under HPS for entire life cycle so thanks for the tip. Also using Ocean forest but will look into your other soil and see if I cant get it to add to the mix. I have always used FF nutes but used photos and not autos. I have read they are very nute sensitive so I will be extremely careful with those.

Ordered about 6 different autos today to give them a try. Ive got a 22" x 55" tent and its around 5.5ft tall. So I imagine I can fit probably 3 autos in there in 5gal pots?

I learned all my stuff about photos here on the forums. Seems to be a little bit harder to find good information on autos without reading 250 pages just to find 1 answer. I really appreciate you taking the time to give me some input. +rep

Hey guys as i am in the middle of moving i will post your pics as soon as i get all unpacked and settled in. Im lookin to be back in operation mid to late november if all goes as planned. You can treat autos alot like photo strains except they are more nute sensetive. But never trim them in any way as that shocks them bad. I have much to put on this site and cant wait to have my computer ouf of the pod. This touch screen phone typin is hard after a good rip on thd bong.

Hey bro,
Here's my first two autos that are 25 days from sprouting now so I can't help with harvest amounts as of yet but can post results in here when they're done if you like. These pics were taken a couple days ago and they're arleady bigger than in the pics. Having to raise the light every day right now about 1".

They're in a DWC and were under T5 lights for the first couple weeks and then switched to the 150W HPS about a week or so ago. I'm using FF nutes in the water and 2 air pumps with 2 air 12" stones.

Looking good man. I have already ordered the seeds and today I will be re-arranging my grow area since it was set up for photos. Hopefully by the time you harvest mine will already be underway. =D

Should get you a little grow journal going tho Dezracer. Youve got a nice setup and the plants are looking great. Are they fems?

If any of you want to follow a thread to do with 2x auto berries. One in soil one in hydro, click on link below. Should be harvesting around mid November. Will update every now and then and will be doing wet/dry weight when harvest time is here. And the differences i found between soil and hydro. So far hydro is the bollox. Click on link below if interested. Where I got my auto from they between 1/2-1 oz per plant. Plant should top out at 14" or so. If I get 1oz I'll be very happy.

HEY GUYS, sorry for the late intro but grows are all looking outstanding, glad to be a new part of this great community.

Ok so I have a medical grow going for New Mexico, I am a caregiver. I have a 10x10 growroom with 4 1000 watt hps lamps also have t5s around the entire perimiter to add addtl blue spectrum, i chose to grow autoflowers initially but also added some others to the batch. I am using the advanced nutrient line with iguana juice grow and bloom, voodoo juice, pirhana, and tarantula, currently am feeding iguana grow, cal mag grow, b52, voodoo juice, pirhana and tarantula. My autoflowers are (iranian, iranian X g13, iranian X chemdog all from DR.GREENTHUMB.) now in their appx 7th week of FULL veg no flowering yet, and tallest is curretnly 26 1/2" tall, smallest about 21". I also have grandaddy purple, chemdog, LA woman, and Herijuana all from clones except the GDP which is from seed, id love to get some input, ill be putting pics on here shortly, i do have tons of videos constantly updated

Yeah old thread, but here was my auto 2 weeks from finish in a 4gal outdoors. Strain: auto blue diesel from advanced seeds. :)

Yield was 2.4oz dry from what I remember, but I'll check my grow journal:)
