iPhone App Testers / Growers Needed!!!

Hi everyone! My name is Jessi and I have been growing for 2 years now.

We are going to be releasing an iPhone App that is for tracking and analyzing your grow. We are looking for 100 testers that have an "i Device" to run the app on.

Testers will receive the app for free and applications can be submitted at www.iGrowHerb.com

The device will not associate any data to the user. Not location, name, username, ip; nothing. But it is an understandable concern. The app works well with any size grow, but it in intended for the 6 medical plants a Cali patient is allowed.

legal or not, there is no way I would drop an app on my iphone that tells anyone when to come and rip my crop off... no thanks!

Who exactly will be ripping your crop off? This is safer than a whiteboard or notepad, did you know the iphone has a locking feature? :) This app is intended for legal use only.

Legal crops get ripped off, too. How is it safer than a whiteboard or notepad posted in one's grow space? It's not connected to the internet. It's not mobile. It's a great idea, honest. I just think people would be weary.

If "they" get to your whiteboard; you're grow is gone. Lose your phone, break it, it gets stolen - nobody gets your grow analytics with a passcode on the phone and your grow is safe.

iGH App Analytics - Per plant or batch; Avg pH, Temp, Yield, etc can be analyzed all by pressing a single button, There are many more features that will be available.

The bottom line is that if you don't want to test our app, then please don't feel pressured to, we are just trying to help people make their grow better.

I use my ipod's notepad.. works great for keeping dates of when I did things. This app work for ipod? I would give it a shot.

Avoid this app at all costs. The electronic trail is WAY to risky. All information could be stored.


Sorry OP, but this won't make it to the app store, as it violates Apple's rules.

hmm first post he ever makes has to do with logging in all your grow info into an app for one of the best gps phones....hmmm i think not copper

I bought an iphone 4 and it has location services that some apps require to be turned on.
it also remembers the Coordinates of photos i take and maps them on google maps.. it can be turned off, but if need be. i'm sure law enforcement can bypass it?

sure it may be ok for that guy with 6 cousins, 3 pit bulls, and an armory guarding his grow(lol), but im not the type of person to put my grow info where anyone can see but me. if i cant remember(without writing/documenting it) then ive obviously got too much going and need to chill out a little, i think the same should go for those 6 plants the cali patients are growing, no app is needed to tell you your plants are 2 months old..
Does it do something amazing like predicting the THC content by rubbing your I-screen on a bud? No sir!
Can it be double as a PPM meter, PH tester, or TDS? Didnt think so, Design that app and a conjoining plugin tester probes and ill buy it for my iphone.
No offense but it sounds like you just recreated a "note pad" for just MJ, nice way to target the rich pot farmers, if they got an Iphone theyve obviously got the money for a grow setup, the documenting of when your crop is going to be finished just lets the hackers know when to kick in your door and take your hard work.. Sorry but i wouldnt download an app like this.

For that much you can google "virtual reality marijuana grow" you sit up your strains, 3 different rooms, lighting, and other factors, it shows where your babies should be or gives you something to move with without having to document your actual grows, leaving that unwanted paper trail.

Google said the same thing till last week when they swiped a lot of the UK's account info including passwords. Of course they claimed it was "an accident"

Lol indeed, I didnt even click to enter their website. The opening page just looks bunk, 21 years of age requirement (which would of been ok im 29) but then have to click to enter. and only 4 posts and been here since apr. Were the other 2 posts for their first sting op? :D

This seems like a good idea..I've been wanting an app for my iphone but the obvious use of growing weed is a bit to open for me..A little discretion would be nice..

Your information will be completely disassociated. The location features of the iPhone(s) will never be used by this app.

I agree, prohibition makes for some strict regulations.
