Oh doc now see for the first time I disagree with you to me your stories aren't depressing at all they are very inspirational to myself I can get super depressed when I have some bad days and just can't tolerate the idea of not being able to take care of others I've been doing it since 4 so when my pain puts me down I feel just worthless after all of what you guys have been through makes me want to smack myself for being a cry baby lol

It can be tough to talk about because it takes me back and I remember just how awful it was. I've had kidney stones twice and it's supposed to be on par with childbirth in the pain department. My back injury was waaaaaaay worse! Probably 'cause it doesn't go away. In a split second my life changed from a really healthy, active guy to someone who couldn't walk up a flight of stairs without intense pain. And I did get depressed right afterwards. Really depressed! It's taken a long time to even realize just how profound the impact on my life has been. Now I realize just how lucky I was because I should be dead or at least crippled and I'm neither.

I know what you mean when I injured my back a few months back they never even did an xray or anything just pain meds and drive yourself 8 miles home...which I did the bf wouldn't come get me...I never let it heal I returned to work hours later and as I have said I do heavy lifting the bf was a dick said I was just wanting attention so I began to just stay in my room...before I knew it it had been 3 months of only betting out of bed to go to work and back in when home when I started getting bed sores I opened my eyes and since I have tried to maintain a more positive healthy lifestyle..this incident is why I want to smack myself my pain was nothing and I let it over take me too easy

Nobody has the right to tell you your pain was nothing. If it rendered you in that state then it was definitely something. You should've gone back to the doctor and told them to check it out a little better. Doctors can be such arrogant pricks sometimes.

Lol well it probably doesn't surprise you since everyone who meets me can tell I'm feisty..in fact some random guy in the store the other day was hitting on me and my sis and she starts talking to him about the cats both complaining I say that's why I have a dog guy says oh yeah what kind..pit I reply his response figures your full of attitude aren't you..funny I didn't know it was so obvious and thanks doc I'm doing better I think a lot of it was depression making it worse with ex gone I haven't felt better I'm confident it will work out I'm giving in and applying for ssi they want to put me through school but thus far I refused to even apply I wasn't read and too damn proud

Well raven nice of you to finally stop in..took you long enough lol..and thank you no worries I'm playing it smart the woodsman can't be trusted I'm skipping the whole poison apple thing...then I will know I am the fairest of them all! Haha got to love snow white...thanks again for the compliments that grow box has pissed me off big time...but I managed to get the night off so after work this am its back to building..I have lots of work still have to wire my new fan and het more tools...I finally ditched the guys and finished the frame (had to tear down) and I mounted the one wall I only wish I had more time!

I was wondering why you didn't decide to go with a grow tent and save the trouble of building a box. I know building your own can save money but the ease and portability of a grow tent almost makes them worth it.

I'm not trying to convince you to buy one as I'm sure you bought all the supplies for the box and if you have any questions I can help. I remodeled and flipped houses before the economy took a shit.

hey Rene, the bud porn is awesome! looking good...and Doc, we must be brothers seperated at birth because of our back injurys and the fact that ive had kidney stones twice as well!! this is crazy...they say there the same as child birth, and yeah they hurt like a bitch! but after watching my wife have both my kids naturally i would take kidney stones all day...like you said, they artn anything compared to our back injuries because the shit just doesnt stop...is sunday, halloween and weve got some family and friends over to celebrate because this is the first year my kids actually know what it is....so a bunch of us just rolled up some fatty's took some Roor rips and i decided to "smell" some of my blue devils...i dont ever do that though, just when were having a really good time...anyway enough of the sad shiz...whats everyone doing tonight? Fab doesnt live to far from me lol... ive got 5 acres with a seperate garage..Kegerator, pool table, TV and video games...why dont you guys fly down here to the sunshie state and lets fucking throw it down? lmao, sorry guys im just pain free right now and in agreat mood...happy halloween

Well I suppose I chose to do it for a few reasons one yes it saved me money for the supplies itself I was out just over 100 bucks...2 because I needed it big enough to accommodate my current ladies which take up lots of space...3 because I knew I could do it and wanted that sense of accomplishment..wanted to learn a new skill... This would have gone smoothly but my brother in law came over got too eager and build the frame all messed up..my dad has years in construction and he said he would teach me how to do it however he bailed on me and only helped adjust the frame...also my ex who was supposed to help but bailed as well..at this point I say screw it you guys have helped me a lot on here and I figure ill just learn as I go..and nice to see you fab

Hey ncg glad to hear you are having a good day!!! This is the first time I haven't worked on a holiday so tonight I'm taking my sisters kids out they are 3 and 4 and terrified of halloween and monsters...my nieces gets dramatic over the paper decorations lol so they say princess aunty must protect them...they swear I'm a princess my nephew tells me I am the fairest of them all and so beautiful how can you say no to that lol I will be surrounded by kids today will meet the other 6 nieces and nephews and my 6 step siblings!too bad my grow box took all my money or I'd be the first one on a flight to that party ncg! Its raining here today oh and I have to wear a costume I hate dresses!

Lol actually I'm not involved with my family at all my father (the above mentioned) is lucky to be in my life after calling a some harsh stuff as well as my mother she said the same I cut them out for a long time...have a restraining order against my brother...I spend lots of time with the sis to help her I had he kids taken away by cps but she is an amazing mom now...I only endure what I have to in this family to protect the kids I don't do it very well but if I can save them from what I went through I will..I have had a hand in raising all the nieces and nephews 5 of them at one point in time I acted as there sole guardian...I can't let them down they light up my life! And as far as grow box it won't be perfect but I got it sorted out now mostly it is 6'x8'x6' but if you guys have input that would be awesome I'm trying to figure ventilation out now have an 8in 500cmf fan and a 6" and I think ill be needing some help wiring the last one I bought used so it was wired for me lol but go figure it was done half ass and I got zapped! Lol I don't mind its funny when I reflect upon it

My freinds never could figure out why but I studied electronic engineering. Electrical engineering is way simpler. After you understand the various symbols on the schematic diagrams that usually come with lights and fans and stuff you'll have no problem. Talk to the guy(make a freind) at your local hardware store in the electrical department. I find these places to be very helpful.

^ electrical engineering is not as simple as you think...trust me i have my degree (then decided i didnt want to do it haha) as far as wiring up household devices, theres really no symbols...just learn the basic colors of the wires and what they do, and the wires coming from the box your wiring it to and thats it...Rene, your fan probaly has a Black, White and Green (or bare) wires coming from it..black is your power, white is the neutral, that basically takes the unused amps back to the panel, and the green or bare wire is the ground, which is there to protect you in case something goes wrong...if your outlet that you want to wire into has Black, red or Blue wire...go ahead and hook the black from your fan into that one and then white to white and green to green...if this is confusing just take some pics of what your working with and i will walk you through it
