Feeding?

Hello everybody. I had (yet another) quick question. What is "feeding" your plant? I heard it was about adding nutrients to the soil, but how do you do that without disturbing the plant. Could someone please do me a solid and please explain in vivid detail what it is and how to do it? Thanks a lot.

I'm sorry but... Really?

And the first response includes "sum" in its detailed response.

You select a nutrient. Avoid miracle grow. There are many nutrient companies. Advanced Nutrients, General Hydroponics, Canna, Botanicare, Humboldt Nutrients, Dyna-Gro, Dutch Master, Cutting Edge Solutions, Roots Organic, etc, etc, etc...

Then you take some good old fashioned water, add a few milliliters of the liquid solution or a few grams of the dry stuff for every gallon of it. Then you water your soil with this solution, testing the pH of the solution before hand is a good idea.

MG works great for me. That's all I use. Never had a problem with it. These were from MG.
