I'm currently flowering some bushes that were vegged for a month and some clones that were only rooted, transplanted and in three days put in to flower. I prefer the clones so far. If plant count was not an issue I would grow clones for sure.

I've waited for some to go an extra week here and there but the general rule in my grow room is 4 weeks.

I'm all about checking strains too. Some are known for needing/wanting less or more.
I'm waiting on some Lemon G clones and hear 3 weeks in veg should be more then enough because of it's burst of growth while in flower.

i dont mean to jump in this thread but im new here and dont have much experience growing i want to clone but i am having trouble finding good info on it do you have anyone have tips or can point me in the right direction?

Does the generation of the clone matter? I found my clones of clones were showing pre flower as soon as I took them out of the cloner. 1.1 clones were taken @ 6 weeks veg and 1.2 8 weeks later. The 1.2 clone went straight to flower and will finish just shy of the 1.1.

I guess my theory here is the older the clone the quicker they "can" go through veg and flower. Being able to flower short sexually mature plants benefits the vertically challenged.

and how much yeild do you get off your plant? just curious
3/4 to an ounce per plant. But I cut three to 6 weeks veg time off each harvest, and I flower 12-15 plants at a time. and since I'm perpetual that makes a huge difference in how many times a year I can harvest.

A 6 week mother is a little young. The most vigorous, speedy clones come from plants mature enough to have alternating nodes at 8 to ten weeks. They root faster and set bud faster.
