S.A.D & Kandy Kush. CFL's & LST

Ok, so I've been puting off making a thread/journal until my little girls had broke the soil. Well I guess now is the time. Ahead of time, I would like to thank everyone who stops in and to who all that give adivce.

Ordered 3 Sweet Seeds- Sweet Afgani Delicious and 1 Reserva Privada- Kandy Kush. (1 of the S.A.D didn't sprout)
Using 2 gallon planters for veg w/ FFOF.
They are in my veg cabinet (this will be my first time using it) inside are 3-27 watt cfls(5700-6500k) and 2-24 watt T5's. (Pics below) Also, there is a 4" intake fan @ the bottom of the cabinet and a 4" exhaust fan @ the top. Temps have been staying from 76F-84f snd humidity @ 35-55%.
I will most likely be doing LST as well.

Once ready for flowering the will be put in 5 gallon home depot buckets with drainage holes cut and gravel @ the bottom.(I think this should help w/drainage). They also will be flowering under CFL's w/ home made reflector in my closet.

The seedling w/ the sparkley leaves is the Kandy Kush.

the babies are looking good so far. is that tinfoil on the walls? if so you did a good job on getting it all flat and not wrinkled

Thanks man, yeah its heavy duty tinfoil. It was a challenge for sure getting it up there w/o wrinkling it too much lol

nope i think a tinfoil reflection is better then none at all, it is not the best but it works. alot of people say not to use it cuz it causes hot spots but that is bull. it would have to be super reflective to do that.

That's exactly what I thought, I hade it @ my house and nothing else to use so why not lol

if all else fells with the foil just go get u a some flat white paint. its reflects like 20% more light than foil. Dont by spray paint. i made that mistake and had to take it back!

There is only 126 watts in the cabinet right now but I could double it when needed. No point in making the temp go up right now when my seedlings don't need much light.

And rsharp, I'm prett sure the foil will do well but only time will tell.

I'm currently trying to find a way to keep my humidity up in the cabinet. I can go in there so often and spray with a bottle but that only brings it up for 30mins or so. I need a permanent solution. The humidity is @ 30% right now. Any suggestions people?

30 percent is fine for humidity, unless it is 0 or way to high then it is fine, if you still want it higher though place a few cups of water in theri and it will increase if it is sealed off. ive seen grows on RIU where theri humidity was 10 and they did fine

Yeah I have 2 cups of water in there and it is sealed off lol but I guess it will be fine, thanks mcpurple.
