My First Grow: Journal

Great thread. I'm about to start my first official grow attempt. Hope mine turns out as well as this one did. Good job !

I remember you had to calm me down. I was ready to throw these bitches out the window and start all over lol. Looking back, I had alot of obsticles to overcome on this first grow, but looks like it gonna be some good smoke here soon. I def. got my cherry popped on this grow. All my other grows will be cake compared to this one lol.

Day 105 (week 7 flower). Plants are doing well. The short plants caylex's have been swelling for a bout a week now. Hairs are turning brown and leaves are getting that brownish tint. Plant might be ready in a week or two. Tall plant is doing well. Its about a week behind the short one in maturity. Tall one will be ready in about two to three weeks.

Those are looking awesome! :weed: Good job glad you didn't flip out and chop those bitches down! Looks like you are going to get some nice frosty ass bud off those bitches! In about three weeks you should be reaping the bennifits of your labor!

Week 5 and 7 side by side:

They dont look much different. Week 7 is much larger and has more brown hairs but its hard to tell in the shot.

I can't wait for the smoke report off these grils! Looking frosty and I garantee it is going to get you nice and fucked up! :eyesmoke:

We will have to compare notes on smoke. I took a small bud today and quick dried it. It was just ok. It got me stoned with one hell of head rush, but it wasn't the great of a high. The bud was small, not all the way ripe, and the quick dry killed whatever potency it might of had. I would rate it lower than bag weed.

Once it ripe, dried correctly and cured for a few weeks it will be much better.

Yeah calm down with that quick dry shit! Once you harvest/cure the right way I am sure you are going to be floored. How did you quick dry it? If you microwaved it you really fucked it up. But no worries, like I said once you cure it with jars it just gets better the longer you cure it.

Haha, I did micro that bitch and it turned out like shit. I will saving all the other buds to dry naturally and then I will smoke the popcorns while waiting for the big nugs to cure up proper.

IDK, your plants look very good to me. One thing I've noticed is the HPS users have alot/large leaves on the bud sights. I think cfls must grow less/smaller leaves on the bud. It makes for a very good picture as you can see the bud very well. But I dont think my plant is frostier or larger than my freinds growing the same strain w/ hps. I think once you trim your plant, you will be very happy with your results my man lol.
