A little bit of help please.

Hi Im just about ready to put my plants in my system but I don't know when they are ready.

How do you tell if your seedlings are ready for your hydro system. Is it bad to put them in to it to early will they get too much water. What should I do.

When I woke up this morning one of my seedlings had fallen over and was wilting, from being to dry idk... but I tied a stake to it and I hope it takes off.

Please help me I be having question....

you should be fine as long as your seedling have a healthy root ball try putting just one in your system and see what it does if your unsure if it takes off them toss the rest of them in there good luck

im in the same situation and i was wondering when i should put them under lights?

or if i should put them under lights as soon as they show growth out of the rockwool?

you should realy have light on them already as soon as you plant the seed floros work best for sprouts and seedlings but be sure to keep the light clone like right over them or your stems will get to long and its a bitch to fix a enlogated sprout

So One Of My Seedlings Was Bent Over One Day Because Of Under Watering But It Has Stood Back Up. And The Bottom Of A Couple Of Rockwell Cubes Have A Tiny Bit Of Roots Pokeing Thru So When Should I Put The Cubes Into The The Hydro System I Have None Of The Seedlings Have Made Any Other Leaves Besides The Ones That First Sprouted Thru.

Can Anyone Give Me Some Advice.

as long as your have a good root ball you should be fine but like i said if your unsure test it out on just one and see how it does

i took my clone that i rooted in plan soil washed the dirt out of the roots and stuck it in a aeroponic system and it had no side affects from the transfermation so you should be good to go long as they have developed roots

yea, as soon as you see growht out the bottom of the cubes (asuming these are 1" cubes) then you want to move them to the 3" or 4" or whatever bigger size you have for cubes. Then when you see roots bocking out of the bottom of the big cubes, but them in for auto feeding into your system. At least thats what i was told to do

I have had the seedlings in the system for the last couple of days and its just starting to grow onto its second leaves. I got a TDS meter and i have been trying to keep my PH at about 5.5-6 . I was wondering how some people that use any systems that dont have a reserve resivor type system I have a deep water culture and the only nutritents I have for it are general hydro stuff that the net pots hang in. the roots are starting to drip down into the solution.

But my question is how do some people get the water out of the tank without taking the plants out. Do people like syphoon(spelled bad) it out or what? Il try to get some pics up sometime.

yes, i use a siphon pump/hose to drain my res. ideally there would be a spigot or some other kind of pump system - but the siphon hose works.

my tap water is around that PPM too. If i had budgeted for one - i would have invested in an RO filter but instead i use the "hardwater" version of my nutes (general hydroponics three-part - the Flora Micro hardwater) and that seems to work OK. i do plan on investing in an RO filter on down the road though so i can experiment with other nutrients.

actually I retested it again and my meter was saying jumping around for a second then it stayed at like 330 ppm thats a little high and I have been having trouble trying to keep it low for the babys but they are coming along very nicely the nutes are at like 750 ppm right now.

Should I use different water or just go along with it?

Also I was going to Scrog it eventually and I was wondering when is a good time to start training the plants to grow into there areas?

Can you explain more about the three part and one part shit on the nutrients I have GH Flora Nova 1-part for the seedlings right now but I have others also? Is yours just more concentrated? Can you mix different nutes like the GH bottles to have the best type of "formula"?

The Flora Nova series is more concentrated. As you know, it is a two-part system - just the Grow during vegetative and just the Bloom for flowering.

With the 3-part, you use each blend in different ratios throughout the grow.
The three parts are Flora Micro, Flora Grow and Flora Bloom.

Here is a link to G.H. feeding schedules (I use the Simple Drain To Waste as a guideline)

if your plants are growing and they look good then i would keep doing whatever you're doing :mrgreen:
