yeah bro she was STOUT, it took a few hours and there were times when i got pretty nauseous...maybe the massive amounts of GreyGoose had something to do with that

Its up to you. If you pull them off too early the plant will naturally untrain itself a little bit, if that make sense. I keep most of it tied down til the end, I only untie the branches that are shorter than the rest so they can catch up to the rest of the canopy.

Looks good man. Is that Mr Nice SSH? How long do you think they'll go?
Thanks! Theyre actually locally acquired as clones, so I am uncertain of their exact lineage, but from all the research of done on the strain these seem to be of the most desirable pheno and while they look very much like the sativa dominant, the stretch is very manageable, and in my case, virtually nonexistent. I think these plants could be about right around 9-10 weeks or so, but Im not certain.

I have to say, this strain is GREAT for LST, but starting with a larger cutting is a must. Both of my plants came from the same mother, but one was better suited for LST. But this particular strain/pheno has a pretty tight internodal spacing, and it has one alternating branch per node. As I tied this plants main stem down, it would naturally twist its branches outward, even if they were facing inward. It was really neat to watch, and you can still see the wavy lines in the stem from where it twisted. If you were able to look directly above the pot looking down on the plant and see the the main stem and all the side stems tied down, it makes up a circled peace symbol(not intentional hehe) about 2-3" about the rim of the pot. Plus the purple lines in the stem that have always been there show the twist too. Its really neat. I LOVE! this strain now, even though ive never actually smoked it. I can see why it is held in such high regard and cant wait to see the finished product.

dude she looks amazing! HOW in the world do you not get root bound?? Is she a clone? Whats kind of medium is she sitting in, will you use the cup throughout the entire grow? Sorry for all the questions but thats badass and i wanna try it!
Yes, the end of the contest is Christmas eve. She will live in that cup until then. I don't know how it doesn't get root bound but I am sure I will eventually encounter some problems along the way. I just had to try it once. She was grown from seed FEM Dutch Passion White Widow. I have her growing in 80/20 mix of perlite/vermiculite. Thanks for stopping by.

she is looking great LT it amazes me every time i see her cuz she is still very healthy. to avoid the light wieght pot you could put a few small rocks at the bottom of another cup and then place the plant cup in that one and it will be weighed down, ive also seen grows in cups where they put the cup the plant is in into another cup that way the runoff stays at the bottom and the roots grow through and in and less watering is needed.
That is a great idea about placing some rocks in a secondary cup to help weigh her down. If she had her way she would like to have feed or water every day. Also a great idea for being able to store more nutrients or water in the secondary cup. +rep for the idea!

Looking good blasty.

Heres mine. I gave them their last shot of veg nutes about a week earlier than last time so they are yellowing quite a bit more. Next time I'll be sure to give them more a little later into flower but its probably too late now cause they'll be done soon. Oh well, live and learn.

... We did them like this without having ever heard of LST before, I just figured it'd keep them out of sight of the neighbours. End dry yield was a little > 3oz. We lost a lot to mold. But it's the smoothest stuff I ever smoked and it gets the job done! i <3 LST!

The Girls.jpg
Not the best pic in the world but there's 3 bagseed girls and a broccoli plant :) As you can see they blended in well with the "sober" weeds all over the place in my yard.

They are Critical Mass. All four are different pheno's. Last time 1 finished at 50 days and the others at 64. So 1 has about a week to go and the others are looking like they'll finish a little earlier this time so, yeah, maybe around 20 more days.
